Man! What is this bullshit?? I see this thread updated and click only to be disappointed by some random talk and no actual twitter news :annoyed:

It's all twitter bollocks anyway, we'd never sign Cheetah, we're well known for avoiding players that'd be called up for the African Cup Of Nations, and I doubt Moyes will change things there. Still...... could be a beast of a box to box.

It's 2 days old....why do I get sucked in to this thread? I wouldn't even class myself as a muppet, but there is always a tinge of hope when the thread gets bumped. Damn you transfer window....

Darren Lewis from the Daily Mirror knows him

We'll see in the next 30 hours

He's been tweeting a few odds-and-ends today as well (nothing really United specific, though).

Weirdly, he tweeted a "Thank You" to Peter Whittingham for sending him a case of wine. He's either strangely open about his relationship with his clients, or he's the most imaginative imposter on Twitter!

What is the success rate for these itk predictions? i'd be surprised if 5% materialised.

The same as any predictions, really. You make a lot of predictions and a few of them are bound to materialise -- those few then pay for the ones that don't as it were.

Let's find the original on the Internet...

The article in which the picture was used: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...as-dead-for-78-minutes-on-Saturday-night.html

What is written below: Life savers: heart specialist Dr Andrew Deaner, consultant cardiologist Dr Sam Mohiddin, Tottenham team doctor Dr Shabaaz Mughal and Bolton team doctor Dr Jonathan Tobin who aided Fabrice Muamba's remarkable recovery.

Aye, Warwick Horton, ffs.

I mentioned that on this thread at least 48 hours ago.

Oh right, so only folk who've been on Twitter since 2008 deserve to be believed?

What a shite argument, lads!

I'm not having any of it, hence my previous comment about how many actually happen. But you can understand that an account set up days before the window opens is more likely to be bollocks, surely?

I, too, was sceptical but he's been followed by national journalists who appear to vouch for him and he's been tweeting several of his "clients" as well.

If it's a hoax, it's a damn, fine imaginative one.

It is true that if he has any actual evidence, contacts etc then when he joined the site shouldn't impact on that. It's just the probability of it being some teenager putting the wind up between wanks is greater if he's signed up purely for this kind of muppetry, as opposed to a genuine journo who breaks other news such as line ups, injuries etc.

Goddamit Maciek. You just had to go and ruin the dream.

Anyway:

So he just pitches up to those things on his own does he, like on a bus? No team around him, no door to door car transportation?

Or is that just 'footballer in street at any point in the last 7 months' picture?

There we have it. Uninteresting end to a story. Didn't think Draxler would go to Bayern so soon, not with Ribery still there.

I think that Horton guy is a fake. The only picture you can find of him on google is that picture. A bit suspicious.

I can't believe some of you are so gullible. Every feckin' transfer window.

Supposedly because Muamba is one of his clients... riiiight.

He is getting some responses from people that would otherwise be in the know, though. Random.
