I would absolutely take that. Fergie as the manager and Moyes as Assistant? That'd be such a huge upgrade on the current system.
I don't doubt Fergie can still get the team up for matches and build a squad, but tactically and substitionally (totally a word) he's been woeful for 2 seasons.
He hinted that this could be his last season when he got his statue but wasn't really picked up.

They've come out with rubbish stories about Rooney leaving as well which was covered by the entire media and then rubbish some hours later by the club and player. They've been known to come out with nonsense.
Maybe they misinterpreted a statement and have taken it further than it was meant to (a source saying Moyes taking over for a period while SAF recovers, and they see it as a lie in that he's resigning)
