Where are you reading this KC? Please keep in mind I have my pitchfork beside me.

Hate when something like this comes up.

I end up waiting until stupid o'clock refreshing this page every now and then until it turns out there's no news.

I won't fall for it, I say!

Rumour on the playground is that there's some big Manchester United news breaking tonight or tomorrow.

If it is that big, it would have being out by now. This is like the "Bale linked with Inter" shit from last year. Well the rumour sugests "calm before the storm", so not transfer related atleast.

Is there a actual source for this, even on Twitter ?

Andy Mitten @AndyMitten
La calma antes de la tormenta.

Apparently this is one of the original tweets, translates to 'calm before the storm'. I dunno what this fella's affiliation to United is, he's some sort of journalist.

Apparently coming from Andy Mitten - UWS author - who tweeted the calm before the storm. In Spanish. Odd.

Hilarious!

I'm sitting in a state Capitol hearing room waiting my turn to testify on a bill and some guy right in front of me is playing a football video game...United v Juve. It looks like Rooney just scored!

Right, apparently there is a big announcement this week. According to the universally loved and in no way ever wrong Twitter.

Apparently there's camera crews forming outside Old Trafford now. Twitter, ladies and gentlemen, has gone into meltdown.

The rumor is that SAF is retiring.

I'm 90% sure that this isn't the case but yet I'm massively bricking it.

Just heard Miguel Delaney on the radio, says the Moyes rumours have come from a few places and that the squad was told to expect a big announcement this Sunday. On the other hand, he says the announcement could be about anything and doesn't have any solid sources on the rumours. Said the last he had heard was that SAF was expected to stay until at least 2015.

Alex Ferguson is understood to be giving serious consideration to ending his 26-year reign as Manchester United manager. More follows #mufc

So it's Moyes then. More or less official. Really underwhelmed and can't say I'm looking forward to his tenure. #mufc #efc

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Telegraph reporting that Fergie might be stepping down.

Any chance this story is a result of Moyes's contract running out, SAF needing surgery and there being feck all other stories? I'm really hoping...
