If PSG want Nani we could do worse than trying to leverage a deal for Verratti.....*wishful thinking*

Ogden seldom knows and writes anything of worth. He'll pick up an already out there story, support it with his own 'source' and then hedge his reputational risk by covering all his bases i.e Lewandowski prefers United but Bayern are also in a strong position to land the Polish centerforward.

He's got no links or anything

He might as well have said Messi to QPR

Is that really that big?

I guess it's the German equivalent of us signing Wilshere. Sort of. Maybe.

But yeah, pretty big news for the Bundesliga I imagine. Haven't followed transfer news recently, but this come pretty much out of nowhere to me. Let's see if it's true though.

It's on Bild btw, for people asking for articles (although I don't see how that makes it a lot more credible) http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/borussia-dortmund/wechselt-zu-bayern-30111116.bild.html

We werent getting him. Don't care.

I have a friend who is an Arse fan.. he was hoping for a miracle.. what a shit day for him

"In Germany"

Hello guys... We're talking about a team in the semi finals of the champions league signing a player that would improve our title winning team. It would be a big coup not just "In Germany" but also in terms of going for the champions league next season if Bayern (probably) dont win it this season.

Biggest Football Story of the season though?

In Germany.

Only in Germany.

What the feck is it with Bayern? No cnuting team ever turns them down or makes them work for players. And why to BvB need to sell anyway show some fecking backbone ffs.
release clause. 38m euros is plenty of 'work' for a player.

No offence really, but rarely have a tagline seemed more apt  Not much Dortmund can do if Bayern have trigged the release clause.

It's just one newspaper report isn't it? on the day of Bayern's the biggest game of the year as well, pretty sure it's bollocks.

Bayern often come up with huge amounts of money for players they want. Gomez a while ago, Martinez, now Gotze... If you're the only team offering to pay it, its not surprising the deal goes through

Sad for Dortmund really. A bit like Arsenal, they also see their best player beeing sold on the trot.

@Ronandiniho: German Newspaper 'Welt' are reporting that United have made a €34 million bid for Robert Lewandowski. #mufc

Us buying Lewandowski still doesn't make sense. Unless we plan to offload Rooney :nervous:

Whether we manage to buy him or not, Fergie has stated our interest now. Maybe thats a sure sign he's off.

I was thjnking today how Fergie dropping Rooney into midfield might symbolise the lessening need for him, or that may be what we are trying to portray with that move. Obviously it could just be so he can find form, but I don't think things are looking too rosy for Rooney right now.

It just seems weird to want rid of Rooney.
Perhaps Fergie actually wants to turn Rooney in to a midfielder? Maybe using the rest of this season to test it in a short run of games?

Howard Nurse ‏@howardnurse 12m
Made contact with Lewandowski's agent earlier but he was unwilling to reveal where his client will play next season. Intriguing.

 Is this guy for real?

I think it's more likely he's off than wanting to turn him into a midfielder. I mean, he's a better forward than midfielder, so why not leave him there and buy a midfielder instead of trying to make him into a mid and replace him up top? Makes no sense at all.
