Soooo David Johnson, the man who is friends with a few of the United lads and said we were signing RvP and Welbeck agreed to his new contract is saying we are signing someone.

He won't say the name yet, but says it isn't Zaha, Butland, Ince, Redmond and his team play in blue.

Could be a wind up, but he's been pretty straight up in the past.
 
He's been a reliable ITK in the past. Hmmm....

Could be some young one though.

It's supposedly one of Leicester, Millwall, Peterborough, Birmingham and Ipswich. He has now told people to ask a Peterborough player about it.

Was out of their team yesterday too.
 
With the loans we've given Leicester, wouldn't be surprised if it was a sweet deal on the side for someone there. They seem to have a talented squad there.

Also what would be the point in buying Butland when we have De Gea? Any other Championship starlets we have overlooked?

Michael Keane is starting ahead of him for them. He's supposed to be better at RB though from what i can gather.
 
That would be one completely out of left field.

I had to google him to know who the hell it is, and Joe Newell Mandolin is suggested before Man Utd.
 
If it's from Peterborough then i am struggling to find someone else.

Sir Alex was at their last game too, though that could have been for the loanees.

Could be some 16 year old, i guess from any of those clubs.
 
If its Liam Moore it'd be interesting. I rate Spurs young right back that competes for the England under 21s spot with him, Adam Smith. Would be impressed if he was the better of the two

Well David Johnson did say that "he'd let us know tomoz (tomorrow)", which is today.

I eagerly await his tweets. Doesn't usually take advantage of our trust in him when it comes to transfers so I hope KM is wrong.
 
David Johnson doesnt chat out his arse regarding transfers, if theres anyone to follow its him.

So not a premiership player then, if so then has to be a young kid like Liam Moore?

A possibility, but not a desirable signing for me. Would be strange as Fergie heaped praise on Smalling and Jones last night. Both are fighting to get in the team as it is.
 
Was Peterborough mentioned or is it just a guess..
No idea who that kid is...
 
@FreddieBoswell7 mentioned at the end of Aug we were monitoring an English CB but wouldn't provide any names. A week later the tabloids started writing that we were interested in Liam Moore.
