Just checked 'Kaka' on Twitter.

A fair number of people begging him to stay in Spain, don't go to MU!

@GuillemBalague: As many of you are asking, is completely false that Manchester United have contacted Madrid about Kaka. Nothing at all in it

Well, now this "Kaka to United" story is :nervous:

Actually reading all this about Kaka. I think if Sir Alex does make another signing he would prefer someone with PL experience. I know he wants the CL, but now he is desperate to win back the PL.

I wouldn't want him - ridiculous as the rumor is - the speculation about Rio's injury lay-off just brings us for the gazillionth time back to our midfield concerns, with Carrick maybe dropping back we're one defensively solid midfielder short.

Has Martinez defo gone to Bayern? I'd pretty much take any decent midfielder at this point purely in terms of cover, if they can also play in defense that's obviously a huge plus

Alexander Büttner (very good left-back) to Man Utd from Vitesse subject to a medical which takes place tommorow. [de gelderlander]

Google translation:

"ARNHEM - Alexander Büttner trades Vitesse for Manchester United.

The deal between the two clubs, according to sources close to the club and the player around.

Both parties give no response.

Büttner must still undergo a medical examination at the club from Manchester. Which would take place Monday already.

Vitesse was Friday miljoenenbod of club Manchester United on the 23-year-old Does Inch Bucket and had to decide this weekend. Büttner has already agreed with his 'dream club'. He will be teammate of fellow countryman Robin van Persie, who moved from Arsenal for the Mancunians."

Is he like another de laet signing where he will just play for the reserves and make an odd appearance before moving on?

De Laet had never played for Stoke and was signed on a free with future fees based on appearences etc. This guy has played over 100 times for his club and was in the Netherlands provisional squad for the Euros I'd say its fair we should expect more from him.

Only thing I've heard about him is that he's ridiculously versitiale, apparently he's a wingback

If he's a left-back who was in the provisional squad you'd have to ask why he didn't make the main squad, considering the Dutch squad ended up with only one leftback, and an untested 17 year old at that, no?

I thought we were looking to sign the PSV youngster, but maybe Fergie changed his mind after the Euro's for the moment.
