People said about RVP, but Kaka coming to us really would be a luxury signing.

I can see the reasons why we bought RVP. I wouldn't see any reason for signing Kaka.

If we got him for ~15 million, of which I am sure there is no chance, it would be great bit of business though.

Unless we are selling Kagawa to Madrid :(

Extraordinary rumour circulating about Kaka to #MUFC. The power of Twitter.

I am not sure I agree, who would you drop to play him?
We need a central midfield player not an attacking midfielder.

You're probably right.

I just really like Kaka as a player and would like to see him in a United shirt. He always seemed like a United kind of player to me!

Money could definitely be spent better in other areas though.

I bet Howard's already called into OT to check if there's any truth in it.

Someone will quash the rumour soon enough. There's no conceivable angle from which this makes sense.

Maybe Giggsy has turned 30-somethings into the new 20-somethings. Or maybe Fergie is retiring at the end of the season and no longer gives a flying feck about the long term. Or maybe we're not signing Kaka.

Difficult to tell these days.

I agree.

Some 'Agent' idiot on Twitter saying it's 90% done

If we get Kaka, I will buy a United shirt, and get Bebe & his number on the back of it!

Watched the Fulham game. He looked class. Kaka, we get mentioned with any player who is available.

If there were any remote possibility of a signing like this happening it would all but confirm that Fergie is having one last big push for the Champions League before retirement.

i want kaka at utd, but purely because I've always loved kaka as a player.

Just like I want fergie to pick up Del Piero as he's a free-agent and keeping in shape currently waiting for a team to do a deal for him.

Neither of these signings are ones I actually **** utd need, they are purely for me wanting those players to be in a utd shirt.

Javi Martinez is the one we want he can sit in the midfield and cover our injury prone defence.

Kaka won't come

it's exciting. but kagawa will not get any games if there is any truth in this.
but yes, this is exciting.
fergie, seems pissed about the GD loss last season. we have not had the firepower recently in the league to thrash 4-5 past the smaller teams, but that to me seemed like a deliberate thing, to take it easy and look to score one or two.
we put 8 past arsenal, 3 past chelsea(twice) last year. do we need the addition of kagawa, rvp and kaka? nooo.
even if giggs retires right away, this would not make sense.
just adding forwards does not add impetus to our UCL chances. having a lack of depth of a couple of areas kills those chances. cause you can't handle both the UCL and EPL with just one out of form LB and the midfield we have

Christ I can't believe there's actually talk about this wider than Twitter and threads like

If there were any more signings then surely they would have to be a defensive minded players - preferably a DM but we know that won't happen, so best hope a left-back capable of playing as a centre-back when all of our current crop are injured - like now for example.

I always liked Kaka but it doesn't make sense for us to sign him, even it is in loan.

Kaka to United is trending on Twitter

Anyway Madrid turned down loan offers from Milan for Kaka so I don't see why they'd sell to us instead.

All of this has come from an agent_ _ _? Really? We'd usually brush information from those fools aside.

Mourinho wants him out, he keeps saying "we hope to find a solution", which in plain English means we're trying to get him out of here. Also, I don't see the connection between refusing two loan offers from Milan and not willing to sell to United?

Lads, I know there are idiots on Twitter, but this "rumour" doesn't deserve to have a single post on the Caf.

The question is, is twitter now powerful enough to turn a ridiculous rumour into reality? I suspect sometime in the near future it'll become self aware, something like Skynet, although instead of sending us all to oblivion, it'll just bring preposterous transfer rumours to life.

Didn't Mourinho already say there is no way he is going to loan him out, although he is willing to sell him for a good price. So as per the loan deal, i would completely rule that out in any case.
