We've been here before with Essien, Robben, Ronaldinho, Nasri and more recently Hazard. Money talks and Mancini wants this player. The only way I can see him coming to us is if he wants to be a utd player.

Also didn't his mother or father say recently he'd never play for another English club as he loves arse so much. I expect ac Milan to enter a bid too.
 
A few days out of the loop in Mexico and I read all the talk of RVP and Lucus Moura.

RVP seems like the most pointless player to buy. He plays in a position that we've currently got quality not to mentioned we've strengthen a similar area with Kagawa and he's also 29 years of age.

Can't imagine this is serious interest, even with what SAF as said.

It reads like one of those statements they want you to correct on standardised tests; Although he's a very good talent he'll eventually be a midfield player.

The quotes don't really suggest to me that we're desperate to get a midfielder in like the article is trying to. More like he's saying that he'd like to buy a CM but it's not easy to find one. Still, it's encouraging to hear SAF acknowledge that it's a problem position.
 
He's acknowledged it's a problem before as well. He just doesn't do anything about it.

But none that can impact and finish like Nistelrooy or Cole & Yorke. In important games our present bunch (as good as they are), sometimes struggle. With the number of chances our players produce but the strikers struggle to finish, I can see a need for a world-class finisher.

I'd go as far as to say Hernandez is one of the best finishers we've ever had at the club.

I would argue that the likes of RvN, Solskjær and Owen were all better finishers then Hernandez, but obviously he got time on his side. It's his allaround game that worries me. He needs to get some confidence back though, as he seemed to struggle a lot last season.

Are not all rumours welcome? They'll make their way to twitter anyway and tend to be no less legit than all the tweets in here.

Saves making a new thread for each rumour like that Uruguayan left footer that someone posted was going to Liverpool and then that never happened, Mata to Barcelona and all the other threads made for things that may or may not happen.

I think he was referring to people talking the other kinda shit as oppsed to what the topics for?...who's a better finisher etc has absolutely no reason to be here and everytime it's bumped people are reading about something that's really not what the topics for...(even if twitter sucks donkey dick)..
 
I see. I just wanted to clarify as I sometimes talk about the rumours on very reputable Valencia sources and I tend to read them before the English speaking "ITKs" on twitter.
