Trump/Russia/SDNY investigation

Jeff "I thought the Klan were ok until I found out they smoked marijuana" Sessions is a piece of shit and not someone anyone should ever admire or pity.

If you guys haven't read the full plea deal and the amount of evidence the government has against trump you should honestly read it. Its amazing

First of all it basically confirms that the agreement with Daniels isn't an NDA it's a full blown settlement agreement. Unlike a confidentiality agreement /NDA a settlement agreement can only be done if you have compromising claims.

So when trump says he only did it to keep her quiet from saying fake news that's garbage (not that we didn't know but the government and Cohen have basically confirmed it is) The settlement agreement means stormy herself has evidence about the affair and both parties agreed that it happened. Pretty hilarious.

Also a part in the notes shows that Pecker brought not just McDougal but stormy Daniels to Cohen attention. Where Cohen would pay pecker for keeping it out of the news.

Trump organisation payed back Cohen in installments in 2017 and they paid for it through the Trump charity fund . Alan Weiselberg sanctioned everything and they literally have all the emails and receipts to prove this.

Pecker flipping is just fantastic

I think this portion also includes emails from a Trump Co executive that is almost certainly Jr or Eric right?

I'll be curious to see if New York has cases lined up against Donnie Jr., Kushner, Ivanka, as part of the Trump organization investigation. At this rate it truly seems only moments away for one of the kids or Kushner to get called in.

A great way to overwhelm them and their lawyers would be to bring charges concurrently. Then they are stuck prioritizing one over the other, meanwhile, you get to see how long they hold out before flipping on each other.

Aye. Not to mention it will force Trump to admit that it's not just the Mueller "witch hunt" - he ll have no choice but to recognize he s in legal trouble elsewhere. So far it seems like he has done his best to keep the focus away from the New York cases.

Where can I get it?

The critical mass will be reached if they bring Ivanka in. I don't know what he will do then, absolutely everything is a possibility.

This will happen in the New york state case against Trump Foundation. Every one of his original children will be indicted and he cant pardon them for state crimes when they are eventually Indicted

you underestimate your president

I mean....who cares what happens to Manafort after he's already been convicted and exposed as a criminal. It would have no benefit to Trump other than to illustrate to others that he will also pardon them if they are "loyal". Trouble is, the only ones left on the field of battle are Kushner, Drumpf Jr. and Roger Stone and its pretty much widely believed he would already pardon the first two (perhaps all three).

The one person he can't pardon is Cohen since there are likely state charges in place to hedge against that.

Ivanka really capable of being a dodgy feck though? Jared / The Venture Drumpf Bros perhaps but Ivanka doesnt strike me as someone who can pull off something illegal.

I think the executive in question is Allen Weisselberg CFO fro trump org

Cohen forwarded his first invoice in February, 2017 to a person identified only as 'Executive-1' – and who passed it on to 'Executive-2' for approval.

Davis revealed that the invoices went to the person 'who was the controller, the individual, the chief financial officer.'

So Weisellberg is Executive-2. Given their roles on the foundation, I think Executive-1 has to be Jr or Eric.

Time and again, it seems to me like they all watched a bunch of mob movies and decided to copy the stupidest things that got everyone caught.

When you're that much of a scumbag you know that everyone you deal with is at the same level as you are. Naturally, you cover your own arse.

The organisation Cohen was dealing with was Trump organisation not the charity foundation . But yes youre right executive-1 most likely is Don Jnr as hes the executive Director where as weisellberg would be exectutive-2 as you rightly said

Ah sorry reason I brought that up is the people enabled to authorize the movement of funds for the Trump Foundation are Weisselberg, Eric and Jr, who of course are all executives at the company. So yeah, pretty much had to be one of them.

What would be the point ? Kushner, Don Jr. and Stone - the 3 other primary combatants are likely already guaranteed pardons and Manafort has already been exposed as a criminal

Pardons will be worthless imho. Your country and constitution cannot survive the corruption if Trump is allowed to pardon anyone.

The world is literally laughing and in shock at the USA right now. Everyone has kept quiet because of disbelief and also confusion at how to handle it. I firmly believe they have left it to be handled internally. Now it's looking like that is happening you might see more and more coming out against Trump. That said, if people start getting off or being allowed to be let off then the shit will really hit the fan. This shit needs to be cleaned up completely if the USA is ever to be taken seriously again. I honestly don't think you appreciate the damage Trump has done outside the USA. He's been like a fecking Tasmanian Devil who's ripped everything apart inside and out.

Does a president need to present valid reasons when pardoning someone? If not...why the hell not?
