Damn, I didn't know the detail of the McDougal one. There's also a rumour I heard going around that he got another pregnant, and payed her to get an abortion. That would be hillarious, politically.
He'd still have the support of the evangelicals.
Yeah Cohen arranged a $1.6m payment to another playboy model apparently for Elliott Broidy but rumour/suspicion is that I was actually for Trump. You'd imagine though if Cohen had that sort of ammunition on Trump it could've been included in his plea the other day, unless that's what he's relying on to force Trump to pardon him. All very speculative of course.

The ones he got done for must have been even slamdunkier than we thought to get past even MAGA.
The maga woman convicted him on all 18, she's saying there was another holdout for 10.
The shocking thing is that one juror also held out on the count that had to do with quid pro quo bank loan agreement where Manafort promised an administrator job to the bank employer if he gave him a 16 million dollar loan. The evidence was overwhelming and this one juror said nah I don't buy it. That's shocking
I wonder if based on that, Mueller might consider re-trying those other 10 counts. Or at least suggesting they will.

And she was one who voted guilty on the counts. All it takes is one other juror with same beliefs that it is a witch hunt (parroted from Trump's incessant ramblings) and stick by that to completely feck up an expensive court case like this one.
The judge only allowing 2 hours for jury selection ruined the case too. Nowhere near enough time to try and weed out bias one way or the other.
It's amazing that someone can say basically "this man wouldn't have been caught doing crimes if the president wasn't trump "
I guess she's right in a way. They would have been busy locking up black people for weed instead
