Trump/Russia/SDNY investigation

Why does Cohen need a GoFundMe page to tell he truth? Anyone that gives is a mug.

Hopefully it proves the election is stolen from Hillary by Putin

It's a pretty big statement from Davies, one that you'd think he wouldn't make unless they actually had proper evidence. But I'm too jaded at this point so until it actually happens I'll hold off the celebrations.

Sounds good though.. :wenger:

Legal fee's are astronomical even if you're not even being indicted. For instance Michael Caputo always complains on CNN that his legal fees are basically the cost of a nice house and all he's done is talk to the special counsel. So hiring the likes of Lanny Davis and all his other lawyers to negotiate and naviagte all of this even if he's is "telling the truth" can be costing him probably millions. I dont feel sorry for him, i am merely explaing why he may want some assitance outside of his own money which is probaly not legal anyway to go through this. Some people may donate as they see him as a ticket to taking down the president. It wont hurt him either way. Stormy Daniels has a go fund me aswel.

Thanks.

Some republicans in an attempt to gain or hold on to power, got into bed with Putin? The rest are in the know and keeping quiet, trying to use it to their advantage, pretending it's not a big deal?

When this all comes out

Drumpf scrambling to get his damage control in

So he didn't know about the payments but they came from him, not the campaign? Which doesn't make it any less of a crime btw, and definitely doesn't make any sense.

I find it funny that, within the Guardian's live coverage of the events, this link appears:
'It finally happened': the long fight to expel America’s last known Nazi

Some incoherent sentences and a reference to Twitter and Obama as a defense

When he's called out for lying about the affairs or previously denying that he's made any payments, he'll probably explain that Bill Clinton did the same back in the '90s.

That's the worst of it - Trump in, Trump out, doesn't matter. Putin continues to reap massive rewards from his gamble on Trump. The US is becoming more divided and Russia will happily fill that vacuum when they can.

Not sure how much he is actually reaping in terms of policy. He is simply using his Trump project as a bit of a lull to reinforce his own projects of building up his armed forces and entrenching his involvement in Ukraine, Syria etc. What he doesn't realize is that there will be hell to pay once Trump is out of office - where he will quickly realize his gamble wasn't worth it.

I am sure it helps considerably with him maintaining power though and that has to be the primary goal for Putin in the near-term. Trump is viewed as a Russian asset within Russia and Putin gets credit for that. If and when the American president gets impeached, I'm sure they'll celebrate their handiwork in Russia. Trump helping to question the EU also helps Russia in the end. I think it will take coordinated effort at the end of all this to fully turn the tide back against Putin and I'm not sure that's possible given the current political climate across the world.

When he said, "In fact, the first question I asked when I heard was did it come from campaign finances", my eyes rolled so hard I almost fell over.
I am imagining a dimly lit office, late at night, with The Donald carefully poring through ledgers and tax documents. He looks up, rips off his bifocals and exclaims "MICHAEL! Get in here, I think I found a reporting irregularity! SAD!"

At the end of the day politics will dictate what the donors do. They're not going to stop funding Republicans because they can't afford to lose seats .

True. There will however come an inflection point where the donors jump off the ship. Where that is we don’t quite know yet.

He's accepting a payment to keep a woman quiet about an affair/sex in that clip. No point moaning and stating the obvious that he's a liar. Most voters knew during the elections he's a liar and can't even be loyal to his wife and family and uses his wealth to hush people and buy favours. How the US voters now expect anything different is beyond my understanding.

PS: Should VP Mike Pence as a Christian and his right-hand man accept his adultery and lies which goes against his beliefs. Is it not hypocrisy on his part to keep supporting the guy?

Some in the media should ask Mike Pence how he feels supporting the now openly accepted sins of Trump.
