Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Fair point, but if the difference is between spending an extra 30m now or losing out on the Premier League, it doesn't seem to make sense from a business point of view.

Then of course when we just give in and pay whatever the selling club asks all we get is people whining about how we are getting taken, paying a United premium, etc.

Well, Paul Clement is someone Ancelotti trusts so its not surprising he is sending Renato Sanches to his former assistant's club on loan.

Regardless of the Clement connections, that's a pretty absurd signing for a club the size of Swansea.

At least should shut up few caftards who thinks Bayern will never make mistake in transfer market.

It's still l only a loan.
They did the same with Alaba (also loaned to a quite small team at that time: Hoffenheim), Lahm (to Stuttgart) and Kroos (to Leverkusen) from top of my head. They all became vital players for them after their return - yes, I know Kroos was sold but that was for special reasons.

I think a loan move doesn't mean he is not wanted anymore by Bayern - otherwise they would have sold him for 25m+ - but rather a chance to prove himself and bounce back even stronger. If he fails, however, his days at Bayern could be counted of course.

I really don't think there was an alternative for Perisic. We knew at least one alternative name for the other targets (Keane, Dier) but not for Perisic.
I'd very much doubt that Mourinho asked for 1 player and 1 player only for a position he says is vital to reinforce. I think Perisic was the alternative option to Bale, Ronaldo or maybe even Willian.

Don't see anything remarkable about Sanches joining Swansea on loan. He hardly played last season, so was always going to leave for more game time.

Usually Bayern loan their young talents to other German clubs. That's the most surprising detail here.

City and PSG are doing it this year.
Going by transfer market but PSG aren't doing it(and given they signed Neymar for €222 and Yuri for €16m, sold Matuidi for €20 and Augustin for €13m, these are all pretty much public fees, we know transfer market is likely right in their regard). They're at £180M right now and will bring that down another £30m or so by the end of January by selling some more.

City are at £145m right now, about as much as you

No way can Arsenal turn down €80M for Sanchez, but they´ll struggle to attract players like Draxler in their current state. If Wenger really cared about Arsenal, he´d step down to DoF only and installed Tuchel as the new headcoach.

People keep on ignoring the fact United made big sales in January, without buying anyone.

I don't get it. How does this prove that? They're sending a young talent on loan to get first team experience. Not selling him to Wrexham.

How do you feel if we send Martial on loan? Big money signing who failed to make mark and now sent on loan.

So it would seem we're really not signing anyone else. I was hoping to hear some deadline action but it's not happening is it?

decent signing for swans if he can replicate his form in his first spell with them. Spent three years doing feck all though. Hell of a long time in football.
He actually wasn't too bad for City in his first half season but he then contracted Malaria and his form went down the crapper.
He's a bit of a folk hero at Swans and I hope he can get his career back on track there.

I wouldn't want to be a manager trying to work with Wenger as a DOF. He would be signing who he wants not who the manager wants.

How can you even compare the two, Martial has made an impact. You're floundering with your point, just move on.

Marital was signed for big money, not my problem if you can't understand simple concept. Jog on.

Perisic wasn't even first choice. Hence the reluctance to spend huge money when a better option will most likely present itself in a years time.

Willain? He said we made a bid for him, but Chelsea didnt want to do any business.
Forgot about Willian, though we tried to sign him last summer so doubt we'd have had much hope of getting him this summer either. Bale & Ronaldo wouldn't have been totally serious names in my opinion. Chances of signing either were remote.

You've spent a shit load of money and whilst you haven't won the things you want, you've still won trophies. Even with all your financial prowess there's got to be a limit to how much you can do. You aren't backed by a country like PSG. You get somewhat close to 200 mill every summer post Fergie, I'm desperate for us to do that this summer cause we've saved up for it and it's the next stop. Insinuating the board are ripping you off is just going to create a needlessly toxic atmosphere. Your owners aren't withholding money.
Net spend we havent spent over 200 million in a while now. The team needed rebuilding Van Gaal wasted a lot of money Mourinho needs to be given the time and most importantly the funds to sort the it out.

Last summer we spent well and bought very well we haven't done bad this summer either with Lukaku, Matic and Lindelof but the team isn't finished yet it lacks a full back and a winger which Mourinho has tried to rectify this summer but so far hasn't been able to.

Then next summer we need to replace Carrick if Pereira isnt up to the job and due to not sorting it out this summer we will need a full back.

People get confused we're not at the strengthening stage yet we still rebuilding from the mess our team was in and if i was in charge of the clubs funds i would certainly trust Mourinho as he man to do that just look what Cunte accomplished with a Mourinho team last season at Chelsea.

City spent 50 for Walker, 35 for their goalkeeper, 30 for Danillo and 40 for Bernardo Silva. Plus a bunch of others... Mendy for 55m etc. They're at about 200m for the summer ALREADY. And they're also looking at spending 60+ on Sanchez.

Inter's valuation of Perisic was crazy, we just didn't feel he was worth it and it was a right decision IMO.
It was OTT but the entire market was in the same state and to make it worse he's started very well for Inter providing several assists. I think we will rue not signing him unless someone better becomes available next summer.

See that's why accounts like him are banned. I just scanned L'Equipe's website and there's nothing like this there. This moron got it from somewhere else.

A few deals could go to the wire. Thought more would be done today.

Bayern Munich has almost reached an agreement with Premier League club Swansea City for the loan of Renato Sanches. The deal is on its way to being closed. It will be an initial loan of 5 million plus a right to purchase of 30 million. The future of the young Portuguese star is in the Premier League.
http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/baye...inalized-with-swansea-city-for-renato-sanches

This is from Di Marzio's website. It's hundred percent a failed transfer from Bayern. If we had loaned out Shaw to some midtable English team in the second year with an option to purchase then nobody would've argued otherwise. People here like to pretend that Bayern doesn't do anything wrong.

If he's a success then he'll have bigger offers than Swansea. If he's a flop then Swansea won't be parting with 30million.

(I'm assuming that Sanches would have the option of rejecting the move)

I hope you're right, normally he's not bad. Think he fecked up like myself, sorry.
