Am I the only person who's taking these nitbits about Perisic as Inter basically going:

"Ooooh, you're close to missing out boys......really close to missing out......c'mon, 48m.......time is ticking....."

From the few times I've seen him (my definition being a handful of league games and not just big champions league outings), he's been broadly unspectacular.

Probably need a German league watching fan to confirm, or a French one. Most the people tend to bone him more since he had a good game against Barcelona, and they just assume he must do that on the regular.

From what I've seen, I don't think he is an out and out winger. I think he likes to drift about and cut infield from time to time, which from a playing perspective offers us nothing different from rashford martial and mkhitaryan.

Perisic on the other hand, would be a genuine natural out and out winger that can offer us that width.
 


Looking likely someone will have to put in an absolutely mental bid to get anywhere near him.

Okay, fair enough. I've only seen him on a couple of occasions and he looked pretty good both times.

Yeah he is on some occasions but frustrating on others. Haven't seen him as actively as some but there's a reason why he didn't really set any club alight, and that he's set to be flogged off shortly after being bought by PSG. He also tends to cut from left if I remember correctly, and already have Martial and Rashford in that role as it is.

I don't really know where the idea that he is going to be flogged off by PSG comes from, last season he was the best attacking player in their team outside of Cavani.
 
Its funny how many top tier managers can't sort out and organize a proper fecking defence for themselves.
 
Evans and Rafael were two who really could have done with Ferguson stopping a few more years. They'd just established themselves.

No he'll suddenly become a quality defender and a very shrewd signing. We were idiotic for letting him go etc.
 
Evans is better overall ball playing defender than what they have besides Kompany.

Would hate him to go there.

Their defense problem isn't going to be solved because their manager doesn't give a feck about defending anyway. You can relax regarding this.

And the real laugh for me will be them running after an ex-United defender because they failed to get any other defender.
