Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Really starting to dislike him, between the "6/10" comment, the "Papers are lying, it's all lies" comment, the stupid cryptic tweets from both him and his brother and now this.

This picture is from a while ago too btw, it's not something he's just thrown up, he's openly winding us up.
What in God's name??? Are players not allowed post pictures with their teammates now? So precious.

I followed his twitter for ages, this is deliberate
You can't actually believe this?

He won 2 champions league, 1 La Liga and Super cup. I think it did work out for him better than if he had joined United in first place.

Pocco is a friend of Moyes. Still bitter at Bale for rejecting his friend.

Apart from saying we no longer prioritised griez before anyone else .
What are you talking about? That was Di Marzio, not Delaney:lol:

Here's what Delaney actually said:
"United sources remain confident that the deal will eventually get done by the end of June, and have a planned timeline in place, although manager Jose Mourinho has privately confided to staff that there is still a lot of work to be done."

He's clueless. Has been since Moyesy was ousted.

So he wants Lacazette to go to United? He cant come to Atleti.

I think hes just winding us up. if Lacazette stays then hes definitely moving there next season, with or without griezzman? who knows, but im guessing Griezzman will stay since Mourinho has stated his dislike of players who arent 100% committed.

Also, by "us" i dont mean Redcafe, like some poster on here alluded to before. There are millions of united fans on twitter and theyve been bombarding his twitter.

Wrong. Was from tonight. Celebration after he scored. All there is to it.

There was no point in that tweet being posted. Not transfer related in the slightest. Griezmann scored in a friendly, Lacazette did the hotline bling celebration with him and so he put the pic up.

Sure he won the Champs League there, how exactly hasn't it "worked out".

Perhaps he would have been better playing under Moyes.

He's won cups but I'm talking about him as an individual, as a player. He's never reached the scoring heights he did for Spurs in the league, despite being in a team that scores for fun. He was also being regarded as being the heir to Ronaldo's throne, as daft as it was. But even lots on here peddled this also.

Ronaldo is in his twilight years and has seen Bale off big time, despite him being in his 30's and Bale entering his peak years. And now he's apparently for sale. When you weigh it against the expectation, I don't think this is the outcome many expected.

Oh right, didnt even know they were playing.
Oh well, i still hope we get Laca and Atletico flop this season :)

Maybe irrelevant tweets like that shouldn't allowed to be posted. It's annoying to log in to be updated and encounter tweets like this or a tweet from 7 years ago which doesn't contribute anything other than dilutes the thread

Probably. Funnily enough though I actually think this is the year we could land him. Question is, do we want him now? Is his injury record a concern? I must admit not being arsed that we are linked to him, when previously I'd be wishing for this to happen.

Gareth Bale.

17 injuries in four years.

We should pass unless he comes really cheap.

Erm. 1. He's not regressed. 2. The market has changed quite a lot in the last 4 years.

These can't justify a hundred million price tag. He's had 17 injuries in four years. Way too risky. About 60 million would be fair.

Agree. Real probably know this is the last summer they're likely to sell him off for a decent fee, particularly when you take in his age. Crazy he'll be turning 28 soon. Some footballers don't seem to age, others seem to race through their careers - Bale is definitely in the latter category.

Bale has averaged only 25 league games a season at Real and only 21 over the past two seasons. There is a good chance he will be available this summer and it will be because he is a crock.

Real Madrid are like Bayern they never sell their best players unless there is good reason

Basti one example and i think Bale needs sold cause of injuries and they want finances to buy Mbappe

Hope we aren't mugs to fall for it again.

Well Bayern sold Kroos who is one of the best midfielders in the world to Madrid so

Bale came back much too early from his last injury which gave him a long term problem.

He's not far off 100% now but I don't think he will start tonight.

I'd sign him in a flash.

Have you actually read the headline to that article?! He clearly reports Atlectico are confident of keeping him. Dated Wedesday night before all the leaks from Utd trying to save face.

He also doesn't say he thinks we will get Griez he cites Utd sources, contacts, something which journalists do have.

I'm not saying he is good or bad, but I don't understand why people jump to conclusions that it's all bollocks.

I remember when The Sun broke the Neymar story, everyone ridiculed them and it turned out to be true.

We are nowhere near Madrid on the pitch, one of their "squad players" Bale, would pretty much instantly become our best player.

There is no shame in getting in cast offs from a team like Madrid, 3 finals in 4 years.

Injuries or not, he would be a huge improvement on what we have. Better than Griez in my opinion.

So you don't see the paralells with Wayne at the same age - look at his last match for Wales
he hacked J O'Shea down in frustration as he no longer had the pace to run past him
and he should have been sent off for it

I don't see Jose wanting Bale but i can see Ed wanting him
