Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Regarding Manchester Evening News. Do they have any inside information? I get the feeling a few of them read on this forum and write stuff after that... Keegan the only on there I think might have some source in the club.

City don't want him and he's represented by Mendes. Yet United aren't looking at Fabinho #mufc

Just read this, it's absolute horseradish

They say we would be more interested in Bakayoko because he doesn't push forward, and that Fabinho is too cavalier. erm....

Think it's fair to say they have no idea and are just generating clicks yet again.

MEN know nothing. Pretty sure Di marzio linked us with Fabinho a while ago. When we realise Matic wont be sold and Dier is too expensive, we will go for Fabinho.

Must be a waste of time figuring that out...

Most useless local paper around?

So far in this window he has gone from a sure thing for City, to City don't want him, to United about to sign, to United have no interest in him.

Fantastic stuff.

Covering all bases, if one of them happens (or none) they can claim they were right

All basis covered. No chance anyone can be wrong is there.

Honestly not too bothered if this actually happened. Actually respect him for it. Similar to CR7 staying another year for United. Still expect him to come eventually, unless things change drastically (i.e. we no longer need him or he gets injured or dramatically goes downhill).

Doubt it. If he stays he will get a new contract which supposedly have a new more expensive release clause.

Still does not add up to me. The CAS ban surely came up during our discussions with Griezmann. It smells of Griezmann trying to leave AM on good terms more than anything. Watch him say things like "I thought long and hard about the move" or "the club gave me their best wishes" or "it was in the best interests of everyone" when he signs for us. In fact, these reactions were probably planned by us, Greizmann and his sponsors/advisors when the CAS verdict was out..if the verdict was different then they would have released different statements to suit the current narrative.

He probably missed his chance if he decides not to join us this summer, can't fault his loyalty though.

Mou is not going to be very happy when he returns from his holiday at this rate!

Well he shouldn't have said he doesn't want to think about football now and he left it all to Woodward and the owners. He needs to be involved in convincing players to come over to United. The prep for next season begins NOW. Pep has wasted no time in strengthening his squad and as usual, we'll linger forever until the dying minutes of the window to close to settle all our transfers. Then it'll be the same old story of the player that was brought in isn't performing because of the lack of pre-season. Seems like a vicious cycle that we need to break.

Exactly. I always believe it's this summer or never, sadly.

Yep, also we have to remember that CL football was essential to his decision this summer - the same will be the case next summer, only we have no guarantee we're going to get it again. We had to slog our guts out this time, and finished 6th in the league. If we do want AG here, we need SOLID signings this summer to tool up for an assault on the league this seaosn.

Well hopefully, that would mean we are happy with the attackers we got from this transfer window.

Except for last season when we wrapped 3/4s of our business up before pre season?

Found it weird.
Football websites are turning into a scam.

Of course we will, once the tour is over and everyone has had their holidays we'll spring into action with some August transfers.

Salivating over City who has done 2 transfers is mind blowing.

Not only that , Jose should fly around convincing players to come.

Did we do that last summer?....
