Rashford 'wanted by Real Madrid'
Spanish outlet Diario Gol claims that Marcus Rashford is on Real Madrid’s four-man transfer shortlist.

Real know that United would be ‘reluctant’ sellers but hat hasn’t stopped him being included as a dream option.

Good luck, Perez.

We may aswell declare our interest in Messi. It's just as likely to happen.

Also it's a great motivator to the kids to have an academy player become a regular, on good money.

I can imagine some funny conversations taking place if they approach us.

Perez - "What do you want for Marcus?"

Ed - "I want the keys and title deeds to the Santiago Bernabeu presented to us in a lavish ceremony. You are to wear white shirt, pink tie, grey blazer a pink tutu with knee high socks and killer heels. Oh and some red lipstick. Then towards the end of the ceremony me and you are gonna spend 5 minutes in the toilets together... or maybe 3 mins, I could well be too excited to make it last."

Not greatly surprised - he wants to go to a bigger club, but where does he really fit in? Arsenal look like keeping Ozil now, Spurs have Alli/Eriksen, United need a more defensive-minded midfielder, he's not going to Liverpool, City have David Silva/Bernardo Silva/Kevin De Bryne etc. Really that only leaves Chelsea as a slight possibility, and I personally don't think he's good enough anyway.

I don't feel he's greatly progressed as a player since he first came on the scene which is a bit worrying, he's 24 now and really should be a developed player if he wants to play for a big club but he still looks like he has plenty of flaws and needs to be more consistent. Also it doesn't help that he appears to be a bit of a questionable character.

Not sure why, he's not young anymore and they have Monreal and Kolasinac who are both far better. Not a pariticularly good player and £10m should be around his price in today's market. Any more and WBA are overpaying.

That's fine with me, Perez can want and fantasize all he wants.

He's not getting Rashford.

EDIT: Maybe this shortlist is the "How to piss Manchester United off list"... DDG, Rashford, Herrera, Pogba

Definitely not Jose type of player. He doesn't know how to defend.
not sure if you are being sarcastic but you are aware that Jose actually BOUGHT di Maria and loved playing him. He also name checked him as a player we should have never sold.

Hard to believe that some people would take Di Maria back, people are so crazy about transfers that they would take a guy back who pretty much gave up on the club and refused to come for pre season
I wouldn't want him back and think it's insane of people to even consider that.

Perisic, Dier and Matic getting slagged off all over the forum.

Now i'm reading some lads want Di Maria back

Might go back on a break from here.
See this would be the sensible thing to do until the season starts but I'm too involved.

If this Barça side struggled with win the CL over the last few years then why does Neymar think he can go to a lesser side and win it there?
The problem will always be that top players will not go to France. It's OK for Neymar when his brand is already out there but they'll continue to miss out on the likes of Griezmann etc. The players that Neymar needs around him. Neymar will see it isn't working within 2 seasons and the reasons he went to France will be the reason he demands to move.

In about 5 years time, at which point he'll be 30. Why should he wait around that long? I admire him moving on, PSG is a weird choice, but at least he's got the balls to do it and not take the easy option of staying put.

You reckon it'll be that long? Well I suppose his decision is more justified if that's the case.

What about the impact he would have? Would turn us into a force.

Yeah, but we dont have infinite resources. We cant pay 500m on him the next 5 years, it is not something any club would do, except a sugar daddy one. We have to find players like him before they turn out superstars or form them ourselves.

He won't ever win that at PSG
Why not? Domestic leagues don't mean s*it as far as BoD is concerned. Win the CL/WC and he wins it

He's neymar, journos won't overlook him even if he goes to play in Bulgaria

Fair enough. But what if it would help in attaining multiple trophies over those five years. For example, at least two PLs and one CL. Would that not make the investment worth it?

35m  no money left after going for Neymar?

Think they need at least 50m minimum to have a shot at getting him. Sanchez can obviously ask for a big contract, look at Neymar
