Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Is Ducker being real or sarcastic?

Likely sarcastic as they've only signed one to replace so far. Mendy and Danilo will follow soon. But £75m on RBs, over £50m on one LB and then they'll need back up there as well.

But it hasn't affected them spending elsewhere and they're worth what City are willing to pay.

West Ham have dropped a clanger with Randolph. He's better than Hart these days.

Best of luck to Barca if they make a serious attempt to sign Dybala, that would be a fecking difficult deal.

So, Pep will have spent the World record fee on a right back, world record fee on a left back and a goalie after last summer breaking the world record on a shit center back. What will the excuse be when the defense is still shit?

This guy not worth a punt for you lot? Didn't really follow the French league so don't know exactly what's happened to him, but at Sevilla he was getting a bit of hype as one of the better 'destroyer' type midfielders in the world. Not technically the best but decent enough and has the physicality to anchor a midfield in the PL, would certainly free up the likes of Pogba and Herrera a bit more and probably won't cost anywhere near as much as Dier and Matic. What do you reckon?

12 months ago everyone was going mental over him and now he's useless because of a bad season according to some.

If we could get him for what PSG paid for him he's worth a punt.

Yep he's an option I would love to have

I've never seen a forum so eager to buy players coming off of piss poor seasons.
We finished 6th last year, we can't afford to take a punt

I can't quote tweets yet, but tweets like the two above regarding Chelsea make me laugh.

So we're supposed to believe that the Chelsea money men, met up, identified the Ox as a potential purchase, and then sat back and went "hang on fellas, let's leave this until next week, what's the rush".

If they're interested in buying him, the interest would have been there for ages, probably months, they'd have sounded out his entourage, worked out if it was possible, and would have been putting in place the ground work, ready for a bid etc.

The only time they would delay, is if the player isn't first choice, but even then, they wouldn't be announcing to anyone, that they're going to finally make their move 'next week'. Utter drivel, it's worse than the nonsense tweets, saying Team X will sign Superstar Y, despite it being obvious they won't.

Ox would be a fantastic signing for us or anyone, really. Can't imagine Wenger selling him to us. Especially if they also lose Sanchez.

How the feck they will fit Sanchez, Neymar, Draxler, Di Maria and Cavani in one formation ?
Easy

Cavani
Neymar Sanchez Di Maria Draxler
Verrati
Marquinos Silva Alves
Trapp

Lol but seriously they would take out Draxler hes not that good.

Even if Chelsea aren't really after Chamberlain it's not the 1st time he's been linked with a move away so there's probably something in it. I maintain he'd be a good signing for Utd. Only thing working against us would be that I've heard a lot of reports he wants to play centrally and I don't think that would be an option for him here like it would be at Chelsea.
