Age? He doesn't trust Martial due to his age?
I think there is some truth in it. Martial and Shaw have been imo unfairly treated compared to other older players. They would get dropped after performing averagely in 1 game, while players like Zlatan, Fellaini and Darmian after performing poorly in periods last season were not subsequently dropped for a sustained period like the other two. Rashford of course dispels this but I also feel like Mourinho, to a degree, was giving Marcus the game time to then counter the argument that he doesn't give youth a chance (literally just said it a few days back).

You mean, more in general, age like that of Rashford, or that of Bailly or Lingard, or Lindelöf, or now A.Pereira?

Rashford would never happen under JM if he was our manager 2 years ago,Bailly and Lindelof are his buys and Lingard isnt a kid.

Edit: His motto is "if you are old enough you are good enough",agree or not, thats how it is.

What did he say?

The myth of Jose hating young players is starting again. Discussing this is as hopeless as discussing Lukaku's first touch thing. It's a myth which will never leave people mind whatever you bring examples that proves otherwise.

Cliches of parking the bus and not playing youngsters will never being stopped said whatever anyone tries in vain to prove otherwise with examples because it's dominant in people mind in a way that even if they say the opposite they'll say " ha ! that's just an exclusion not the rule! "

Too late.

Why shouldn't we slate Jose for other clubs wanting one of our players?

Don't see a problem in taking an unsubstantiated storey which is very likely to be made up about another club that might make an enquiry about one of our players as if he has some obligation to stop speculation before it begins ?

Why the feck not I say...

Why the economy I say...
The player's entourage being favorable to the loan deal, though…

You should watch some football.

And you know this because?
The same way we “know” Inter wants Martial. “News”: Inter che ha avviato i primi contatti con l’entourage del calciatore, colloqui positivi: il calciatore infatti intende valutare l’opzione nerazzurra, ma al momento non c’è apertura dallo United.

 . This is transfer tweet thread, think we should all clear discussion about JM from here.

Ill feeling. They wanted the same money before and after the FFP. Don't play the victim card. Lol.
Yeah thats the biggest load of rubbish I've ever heard. And I agree with the general sentiment that it's time to walk away, they've been deliberately obstructive since negotiations started.

I can't see Arsenal winning the EL or making it to the top for this season, even with Sanchez.

They might not but the thinking is there is a better chance of them doing it with him then without and more so especially if Sanchez is sold to a Premier League rival. I think unless Sanchez kicks up a massive fuss (which almost half way into the market he hasn't done) he will see out his contract or at least go into the last year with it. A Suarez like deal may also take place.

I've been supportive of Mourinho since the time everyone wanted Pep instead, but i think I'd dislike him on LVG levels if this Martial move happens.

I agree with this, would really sour my feelings towards him. Especially if he's gone in a few years and we have to watch Martial blossom possibly elsewhere.

Martial isn't going anywhere, he said as much himself and there was a report suggesting we value him on and off the pitch.

Inter are testing waters and there's no way Woodward will give in to their demands with Martial.

Ya its probably just a ploy to get us up to their ridiculous price for Perisic

So we don't know then? I don't take something as true because it's in a sports page of a paper trying to generate clicks on speculation scraps

They might as well have just said that Perisic is not for sale. Same effect. Just scratch this one off and move on to the next one.

Think the wanting Martial on loan or even on a permanent deal would be a deal breaker for Woodward but not necessarily Mourinho, wonder who'd come out on top in that internal battle?

The contacts with the entourage of the player are positive and has also been shown availability; however there is still the opening by Manchester United to a transfer of the player to borrow.

The report is saying the player mayn't hate the idea of going there and there's availability from his side, but they didn't get our permission for the loan move at all. When the club agrees for the deal we can talk.

The loan deal involving Martial won't happen for the simple reason that we'd then need another winger, which in this market is extremely difficult to pull off. For that reason and that reason alone (rather than any truth to Martial's entourage being agreeable to a loan or even Jose not fancying Martial) I don't think Martial will leave.

Ok, then we also don't know Inter wants Martial, United Perišić, etc.

Seriously feck them. I'm starting to get really sick of this club.

Why? Inter sense United's desperation and thus an opportunity to screw United for all they can. United should either pay the price or leave well alone. Surely there are other wingers with similar stats.

Now, definitely Woodward. Mourinho's first season wasn't good enough to buy that fight.

Give us Dybala and I'll piggy back Tony to Turin. Swim the cnut across the channel and all.

Fixed.
