Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

In the current market such a low fee is an insult. well, sort off.
Disagree, it's good. One year left on his contract, hasn't done anything noteworthy in the past three years (1 league goal against the worst team in the league). Good talent but not amazing IMO. I wish him luck.

Who is this tweeter? Reliable?

He's known as one of the more reliable journalists out there. But then again, Di Marzio just tweeted that Nainggolan and Roma would meet this weekend to discuss renewal. Same did the HLN guy Kristoff Thereur or something

Like right now?

Yes I can't link the tweets as I'm a new member but both Di Marzio and Kristof from HLN said Nainggolan will meet to agree a renewal with Roma on Sunday, and the Inter director Ausilio said in an interview that Inter has not considered any of our offers for Perisic and that deal "isn't happening"

Why are people happy about the Perisic deal not happening? I mean he's not exciting, but going into the season with Martial on the wing would be a joke. He's not earned the right to be relied on and going into a season with him as our starter would be disgraceful. Since his personal issues came to light, he's been nothing but a major disappointment and honestly it feels he's more likely to go the route of a Januzaj than be remotely important to our future.

Alright, thanks.

Because he is not at the same level as Ronaldo/Messi/Neymar and apparently too old although he is exactly what we need. If we don't sign a proper winger again and start the season with Martial/Rashford on the wing it's going to be 'fun'.

Wasn't it a Daily Mail journalist that broke the Lukaku news first?
Exactly, the paper is one thing, but it's who writes it that really determines how reliable the piece is. In this case, I'm not entirely sure Crafton is very reliable.

Odd that nobody ever brings up age when talking about this deal. Its supposedly a big issue with Matic and Perisic
Erm probably cos he's a much, much superior player than the pair of them.

have a hunch they're going to sign Aubameyang. Just think it makes sense.

Seems nobody wants morata afterall
I'd be happy if they signed Auba. Would fit in as well as Michy. They won’t though. I don’t see any top team going for Auba.
