I think we might end up signing him.

I'm a big fan of Chamberlain so I'd be happy with that. He's versatile too so we could play him in a few positions. The way Wenger handled his development has been terrible. Thought he was an incredible talent when he was younger.

I guess so, but don't clubs pay in instalments rather than all upfront anyway?

It might all have to do with the actual wording and when the payments start then. Buy him this summer and the first payment would have to be made this fiscal year. Push the purchase off a year and you hold off payment. Obviously good for the buying team. For the selling team, might be a way to help with future FFP issues?

The thing is from an accounting stand point depending on how the actual agreement is worded both clubs might have to put something on their books for the current fiscal year regardless of it being an event that won't happen until next fiscal year.

Over on Bluemoon they were tracking flights to the UK a few hours ago. If he ends up having been on a plane to PSG then.............

Four hours later and with this Lukaku rumor, have you changed your mind? Market is much more dynamic than you are implying and there is not one perfect profile. I also think United would get better with Vardy and Ox than Morata and Perisic but this is my opinion, from a different country and a different perspective.

Just five days ago the today enthusiasts made me a cretin for writing that Ox would be waaaay better for Utd than Perisic

Delighted Alves is off to PSG, woould have improved City immensely. He clearly demonstrated his worth and class this season with Juve and Barca struggled without him.

Mbappé just rented a new house in Monaco to bring his family and wants to stay at ASM.

I disagree. I personally think Alves would leave gaping holes in City's defence. He has never had to defend really.

Confirmations: #PSG @DaniAlves pole position! City exceeded, the player is already in Paris, usually a two-year deal. #DaniAlvesD2 you confirm that?

I haven't heard of more than 10% of those banned accounts.. I'm getting old!
