Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

The 60M is most likely Marca accounting.

If Real buy it's just for the fee. If they sell or Barca buys it's the fee+add-ons+wages presented as the value of the deal.

5M loan x2
+
35.2M
=45.2M

Now add James' 120K/week for 2 years, convert to Euros...

What do you get? The obligatory fee of 60M.
Since when do you count the player's salary on the amount of the fee? Do you mean if PSG, for instance, payed 60m they wouldn't have to pay a salary to the player? It's a good deal, for what's been talking about.

I hope we go all in for Sanchez. That would be the ultimate Muppet signing of the summer.

Marca does, when Barca buys. I wouldn't be surprised if they are using the same accounting methodology for this deal, which just happens to have a massive difference between German reports and Marca reports... and the difference can be explained through accounting the same way they've done several times before.

Didn't they match our offer for Lukaku though?

My last post due to being limited to 3 a day

Everton have never came on and said they had a bid from Chelsea anytime i have watched or read reports

Conte was quick to dump Costa just after season ended

So makes me think if they have a replacement lined up already but he is in the £35m price range

Lot of talk of this player going to Chelsea in January

If his club is knocked out of Champions League qualifer

I think the player they will sign will be Dembele from Celtic

[Info Paris U] Dani #Alves should be the second Parisian recruit of the summer. #PSG

Paris United twitter account has been spot on with PSG this summer apparently.

Since we have been on pursuit of a DM for a while, I think 4-3-3 combination would be the one we aim to use the most. So we don't need a pure Nr 10 anymore and in case we use that formation, we have Mata, Miki and Pereira.

We have? Example?

Mourinho only went 433 a couple of times last season and always reverted back to 4231.

We're more likely after a number 10 than a cdm

So hypothetically then, let us say that offer turned his head and made him want Chelsea. What would you say Chelsea would do? Pull out, or go through with the deal?
The point is that Chelsea knew that hypothesis would never happen.

Having dealt in transfers over the years, they will know when a transfer has reached a point of no return.

Dunno, but i heard about that when they got Coman from juve. Also in Italy it's apparently like this, too. You can't write "club X will have to buy player Y for a fee of Z" in the contracts, you can write "club X has the option to sign player Y on a permanent deal for a fee of Z", so the "obligation" to buy is a gentleman's agreement
Okay fair enough cheers.

His price would be ridiculous, especially taking into consideration the fact that he's been quite shite for a while now.
Would be the perfect poacher option, but doubt it he wants to come not to be a starter here too.

That makes sense.

Wouldnt put it past Marca too.

Not a couple, half our games. And there are serious doubts were are we heading. An offensive midfielder like Nainggolan would make more sense, if we were going full 4-3-3.

Can't see why Alves would force a move from Juve to go to PSG.... oh yes I can $$$$$

City have literally no fullbacks left in their squad. Their situation is actually dire. Hopefully Spurs absolutely rinse them with the Walker deal.

Duncan Castles was spot on with this news. He actually is a very good journalist.

Are there?

Fabinho - utd actually resorted to breifing that we werent in for him. There have been no reliable consistent links with any other midfielder, and even if there were, it Wouldn't mean a change in formation.

The only genuinely reliable links weve had are:

Lindelof- bought
Keane - wanted more game time.
Lukaku - bought.
Perisic - still ongoing
Greizmann - this just shows we were interested in a number 10. The fact utd stated our interst in hi m had 'cooled' showed we were interested, the ban being upheld screwed that. So by that rekoning we are more likely to still be after a number 10
