Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

It's a real account, just check who follows him. Half the Inter squad, a fair few of them haven't got verified (blue tick) accounts either.
We've had this before when that account posted united clours. It is apparently a fake account

Firstly I'm not sure that's his official account, but if I remember correctly the Croatia national team tweeted at that account before. Also, my point was shortly before he signed for Inter, he tweeted a blue and black emoji (colour of Inter's kit) and now he's tweeted a red emoji (colour of our kit). Then again it could well be a fake account and we're just wasting our time.
just caught up with the context. It's a fake account. He doesn't use twitter. We went through this already a month ago I think. He's on Instagram though.

Probably a troll, but on that Chelsea forum someone posted a link to, a guy calling himself "football agent" reckoned he was a real ITK, and said they haven't the will to spend more than £50m on a player this summer due to the new ground scenario and reigning the spends in.
He reckoned the Lukaku situation was pure face saving, and that Tammy Abrahams (?) will be boosted forward along with Batsuyi too.

It seems impossible to believe that the team that brought spending to a new level wouldn't have enough money, but we'll soon see!
60+ m for a left back/wing back seems mental...

Must be HP sauce...as I remember seeing Abraham saying he's signed a 5 year deal at Chelsea but is off to Swansea for the season.

Yep, in fairness a number of posters were offering their "opinion" on his claims :)
I think it's wishful thinking from a lot of us too, that their money will dry up and they'll fade to midtable, the level they were always destined to be

How do you know this?? What are you basing that comment on?

Martial had a terrible time adjusting to Mourinho's expectations. Rashford far exceed Martial in attitude and willingness to fight for a place. Same with Lingard. These two played a lot more than we all thought because Martial let himself down and did not adapt to Jose enough until too late into the season. His mental and attitude approach was below par compared to his counterparts. The talent is all there, maybe higher than Rashford's and definitely higher than Lingard's. So going into season two with Jose, knowing that the platform to improve and win is there (i.e. Champions League, another year with Pogba and another year with his core players).

"
‘That's the point. That’s why Marcus Rashford, even without scoring goals and not in the Premier League since September, he is always a player that I trust and I play and support because he was always coming in my direction.

'That’s what I want from a Manchester United player. It’s about that. It's about knowing each other better.’"

Clear as day that while he wants regular football, he also wants a pay day and his agent is doing everything he can to get him that sort of attention... and nobody is biting.

I've lost count of the times I've seen him linked to United and someone saying the move is imminent. I hope not, because if he comes I think that would mean the end of Mata at United and I really thought that Mourinho was happy with Juan. Unless they would want James to play wide then surely that would mean Martial was on his way and personally I would prefer him to stay.

They're asking for €70m. Even we wouldn't be daft enough to pay that. I don't think anyone will bite, he'll be there next season.
For £60 million, not a chance he's leaving.

You hope young players like Ceballos and Mbappe would see the silly situation players like James and Morata have found themselves in and avoid Real Madrid like the plague..... apparently they're not that smart.

Real will be confused if we go in for him. They want to sell him but they now know that they can't bully us into paying an inflated fee. They can't simply refuse to do business with us either since not too many teams can afford their players.

I think they're looking at how Cassemiro and Isco got in the first team plans.

That's a bit different to 'downing tools', don't you think?? Not that I disagree with anything you said mind, but still.

In the current, crazy over-inflated market, you think that's ridiculous?? In relation to what's happening in this transfer window, he's worth every penny of £70m. I'd be gutted if we skimped on £20m and got Dier instead.

Wait what? Isco almost left too, Zidane only just recovered his career there.

What about Kovacic, Lucas Silva, Danilo, Coentrao who never get a look in even Zidane even sold his own son because he had no chance of firat team football.

So who is Ceballos replacing midfield? Kroos? Modric? Isco? Casemiro?

It's just madness the kid is ruining his career that why Mbappe wont move until one of the 3 main forwards have left hes not stupid.

Why would Mourinho want Dier instead of James? They're completely different style of players.

I don't get how the feck we got shafted 75m but didnt even recieve a fee for Rooney
Do you not understand how it works? If we received a fee for Rooney then either we would have to pay his wages for like a year or spend more to get Lukaku. Rooney's fee is not officially on paper but it IS part of the deal.

The Sun thinking we're going to Hijack another Chelsea transfer. Bakayoko.

His playing for Bayern is probably why he didn't get more goals and assists. He was competing with the likes of Robben, Ribery, and Muller for a spot in the team who seemed to be favoured ahead of him anyway.
The post I replied to already factored that in. It was about productivity over X minutes and compared as "about the same as our AMs last season".

1. Nobody is happy with our AMs productivity last season

2. At least they played for a team that came 6th

Being as woeful on a per minute basis as our guys at Bayern is just criminal.

I don't have any beef with Costa (or care much about him) it was just a really odd defence.
