Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

So after messing them about over ddg, making them look stupid over morata we are going back to sign another of their players, some top level reporting here.
It's the Independent, of course it's going to be rubbish. Toilet paper.

Delaney really is beyond useless. Pretentious idiot who acts like he knows everything

If we sign Rodriguez the mods are welcome to ban me until the season starts.

Palmeri said 14 mn amount is after tax, english rate is 45%, before tax wages will be 490k. which in gbp will be 433k approx.
Oh sorry, I misunderstood your post, thought you came up with 490k after tax. I'm not sure what's worse though, the wage or tax rate.

I don't see why Leicester would entertain low offers, especially with Mahrez wanting to leave.

:( Remain convinced he is the better player

Ask your self do you believe Chelsea are better of selling Costa and replacing him with Morata? I was all for us signing him but looking at him possibly going Chelsea. Not at all concerned.

I think he will be a good fit at Chelsea because unless we make some more major signings he has better players around him whose confidence is sky high. If we had a Hazard it would be different, hell if we had a Fabregas it would be different.

I swear the BBC are getting much worse for clickbait tweets, where they post about a transfer but don't mention it's a link to their gossip page or an article from another paper.

They were meant to be the reliable one's you could trust that when they said something it was because they had actual information from the parties involved.

I was never particularly dreading the thought of Lukaku replacing Costa at Chelsea. Personally I like Costa but think Morata is going to be a top Premier League player (assuming he makes the move)

And this is why:

Ya, and his movement, quickness, touch and interplay would suit paired Pedro/Hazard and co.
I'd be gutted if he goes to Chelsea.

Looking at the Caf, I can see that for quite a number of people if Lukaku doesn't hit the ground running, he's going to turn into a 'slag-off' scapegoat every match.......pity.

Well Lukaku you could see him scoring goals. Morata you just assume he provides good team play. It wouldn't surprise me if he went there and got Torres numbers. I wanted him here but was only of the hope he would improve on his goal tally.
