The fans do, its the club that doesn't. They've had plenty of really talented lads down the years that their fans would love to have seen get a proper chance, only to never see it happen.

They've had (and do have) a lot of really talented young guys coming through, any fans would be pissed to see the some of the best homegrown talent in the league go to waste at their club

Yeah one of my buddies is a life-long Chelsea fan and is quite disgruntled at the lack of chances being given to the younger players.

Its the new buzzword it seems, theres even a fecking thread in this forum with the word 'smokescreen' in the title. Now every time we are linked with a player it will be deemed as a 'smokescreen' for someone else.
They were saying we were 48 hours away from confirming Matic 2 weeks ago and now that looks increasingly unlikely to happen, they're pretending it was all part of the plan? Wouldn't a "smokescreen" imply we would be going for a player they haven't been linking us to on a daily basis for 2 months like Dier, as with Lukaku?

Don't be worried. When you play for Jose, you run your legs off or you'll be watching the game from the bench. You can be sure of that. Moreover, playing for a club like Manchester United does wonders to some players. Lukaku looks like a very ambitious lad. I think he will give his all on the pitch for United knowing fully well that it could be his ticket to the big league.
