Feck, through the haze I thought it was Liverpool.

Oh well, even better, he would have been good for the scouse.

Ihenacho would have been a good signing for Everton after Lukaku left. Surprised they wasn't in for him earlier.

Not a bad fee in todays market

Perez is at fault more that United here.
He wanted to play hard ball, and I think he made it a personal mission to take us to the cleaners.
Shame, I really wanted Morata, but can't be unhappy with Lukaku

If he can add a work rate like Vardy's, Leicester will be a nightmare for centre backs.

In the early stages one of my main worries was how much Morata seemed to love Madrid and seemingly didnt want to come to us that much (or anyone else) and that he could be similar to Di Maria. If Lukaku had us in mind from the beginning I'd be a lot happier with him

I feel sorry for him if he truly had his heart set on the move and ends up playing second fiddle again. If that's the case shame on Perez for treating a player like that. If he ends up at Chelsea, not a bad consolation prize for him.

Reguardless they want More than lukaku.

Absolutely. Perez is a cretin for trying to be too clever and playing hardball on a player he's generally treated like shit (loaned out to Juve, brought back for the sake of it, not played). If I was Morata I'd be furious.

If we genuinely have dropped our interest in Morata that leaves Perez with very few options and an angry player on his hands. He must despise us, this would be the second time he's been made a fool of by us in the transfer market.

Serves him and that circus he serves right, can't stand them.

Perez is a d*ck. Morata would likely have stayed at Juventus and they would have been glad to keep him, but Perez has to be a smartass. Now he has been bitten on that smartass and he will have a really disillusioned player on his hands.

Why are we selling janujaz for 8 m. Criminally low price Seriously.

You're not really comparing Januzaj to Iheanacho are you? Iheanacho is easily worth 3 Januzajs based on their development the last 2-3 seasons. Adnan had plenty of chances and threw them all away. That's why he's only going for £8m

It will take time for him to realize not everything revolves around madrid anymore.

What did he achive last season for that price tag? Januzaj will perform in a right team and system.

I do feel a bit sorry for Morata if he did want the United move, but at the same time it's been dragging on for weeks. He maybe could have done more to push the move through.
I get the feeling he only wanted to move because of the burning need to play every week in a world cup year. He's just desperate to go somewhere that he will be guaranteed game play every week. If Chelsea or Milan come in for him he will be off happy as a lark

I still cant belive we accepted 80 m for ronaldo.

Mourinho factor was there for sure. Mourinho would have got the best out of him.

He is sunning himself in the glow of back to back CL wins and the La Liga win. Yes they are successful, but power isn't entirely about winning now, it is about money and there are a lot of rich powerful club out there now who do not have to kowtow to Real Madrid any longer.

Agreed. He has so much talent, but from the evidence provided his attitude seems crap. Refuses to grow up, work hard and take on advice to get better. Even Moyes couldn't get him to be consistent or even improve week to week. Kid thinks he's great without effort. Plenty of evidence from his loan spells to prove this.

Sentimentality on our part from SAF and Gill to get a reasonable sum, but give Ronaldo his wish of playing for Real. It annoys me as well, because Ronaldo uses his so called love for us to screw us over time and time again.

Whenever I see him play he looks very good and he had a pretty solid goals per minutes ratio over last few seasons. Not much he could have done with Aguero and Jesus in front of him. Could be a great signing for Leicester. Unlike Iheanacho Januzaj got the chance to play consistently for his club last season and was consistently awful.

How has he been bitten? He gets to keep a fantastic striker as sub for Benzema.

Well he is reapeing what he sowed, The Market is so inflated now that Madrid can no longer keep their galactico policy alive and compete for world class players in their prime , Now they are turning to Young players with potential even have to pay extortionate prices. Only thing which is in their favour is they can still bully clubs in spain for lack of Money in their clubs and spain has a good talent potential.
