Thing I have found really under rated about Bailly is his ball playing level. He kind of almost looks awkward and always on the cusp of giving the ball away or doing something stupid.....but he barely has so far, he has been deceptively very comfortable with the ball I think.
Also I realise Giminez isnt a Ferdinand, Pique or the like but at the same time he is hardly a Chris Smalling in terms of distribution either. He would be one of my first choices in terms of a centre back signing personally.
I am not concerned about having a ball playing centre back. What I would like to see is a good organiser and leader in that back four and/or similar in central midfield.
A leader/captain is one thing I think we will be missing as things stand if Rooney and Ibrahimovic leave, Carrick can be a good club captain but is he a leader or will he even be on the pitch enough.
Nigh on impossible to find but we havent had a Keane or RObson type to lead by example and grab the team by the scruff of the neck. Our 95 side was full of leaders and strong characters
