Morata over Griezmann?
In terms of what we need I can see it, especially with our manager, he's always liked a #9 that can hold the ball up and act as the fulcrum for the attack, that will be his priority with Ibra done, he needs that more than he needs a second striker as that role is no good without the #9 to play off, so in terms of pieces for the puzzle I can see Morata as a priority for Jose.
There's no way on this earth he's only 20 so that's quite believable.
Well, The Barça of dream team had a good group of basques, Bakero, Goikoetxea,Txiki, Salinas. Even Cruyff said that he signed basques because the catalans weren´t brave enough. Personally not a big fan of Martínez.
Didn't he just sign a contract with Atletico last year? He has 4 years left on his contract. I would be surprised that he was trying to get a pay rise after all he's done and said in the last few weeks.

Griezmann re-signed less that 12 months ago, around end of june 2016. How on earth could this already be another contract/wage stunt? I just can't see it.
Plus surely if you're only looking for a raise then you brief journalists or let you agent do the talking. You won't announce it more than once on TV

That is strange indeed. I thought Antoine is our first priority as well. Morata (if not for his desire to move to Italy) and Antoine would be ideal and would probably cost the same as Mbappe.

Plenty of young talents have been amazing in their first senior season. Now video analysis on him starts big time, every bit and quirk of him will be analyzed and tought to the defenders, they will know a lot better how to defend him next season. If he can replicate his class then, we can start talking. But even then i'd still prefer Griezmann who is proven on the highest level, while Mbappe really only shined in a rather weak league playing for a team that dominated the vast majority of the opposition.
Don't wanna take anything away from him, but getting to Griezmann's level would already be big for him. Going beyond it in 5 years definitely a possibility, but far from given, despite some Redcafe "experts" already calling him the next Ronaldo.
He's had a stand out season. It was impressive but that's all so far. Can you think of any players who have looked great for a season as a youngster and gone on to underacheive or not live up to the initial hype? If so, it's fair to say Mbappe isn't sure to be a great player.

I think griezmann is already done,that's why he isn't a priority more of a formality..i think we want morata or mbappe for the striker position

But we dont have unlimited resources this season. Lukaku, Belotti, Mbappe all effing cost 100 m euros or plus. Ibra is injured. Abamuyang is gone, Cavani is not linked . Jose is bound naturally.
