It just doesn't make any sense. We haven't even been linked with Morata in the past few weeks, whereas the links with Griezmann are appearing every single day in many reliable papers and sources in both Spain and England and most of them claim Griezmann is our priority signing this summer.
Seems like Morata is off to AC Milan anyway.
As for Mbappe - I'd love to see us sign him, but just can't see it. Zidane is his idol and the transfer seems a matter of time.

It depends on what system Jose wants to play, if he's looking at the overall make-up of the squad we have Mbappe and Morata are both more natural fits than Griezmann for a proper 4-3-3.

That would be awful.....Mbappe could become amazing, but he might not. Morata is a decent striker. Greizmann is one of the top 5 players in world football.....it's a fairly simple choice.

Would not durptise me if morata was above greizmann as a priority. I want greizmann but strugfle to see a system where both him and pogba are fully utilised. Greizmann isn't a number 9 and pogba struggles in a 2.

You mean Mbappé could 'remain' amazing. He is currently amazing, the question is if he will continue it.
The only guarantee of that is via getting to know about his personality and background, which seems to be very good from reports. Other than that, only obstacle is injury, which has nothing to do with age. He's not suddenly going to forget how to play football simply because he's young.
Another point often overlooked by the 'just played one season' brigade is that Mbappé has been playing football for years. Just because he may have come to your attention this season doesn't mean top coaches and scouts have not known of his capabilities for years. It may be that he was alreasy seen as a generational level forward talent when in the youth systems, and what he did last season has simply confirmed this to people, as opposed to alerting them to him.

I don't find it Odd that a Striker is more Priority than a #10 for Jose. Especially since Griezmann signings pretty easy to do once we can afford his BOC. If Zlatan is staying though, Griezmann will probably be priority in the end
I agree, a proper #9 is so key to how Jose teams build their attacks, the focal point, he's also a more natural fit for a system that also gets the best from our current best player. It's funny there's been a bunch of posters on here backing this Perisic signing using the reasoning of team building over fancy names, but I guess this only applies when it suits a given agenda.
