Hope Ibra stays. Doesn't mean we should be ignoring the striker position though, Belotti or Lukaku is a must.

Exclusive: Manchester United want to "fish" in Heliopolis

Roberto Gonzalez, the best player in the lower categories of Betis, according to sources close to the player, has received an offer to change Sevilla for Manchester; Luis del Sol for the Trafford Training Center and the greenman for the red, among other things, to become a new player of the British entity for the coming season.

The Betis did with his services when it belonged to the equipment of his city, the Mérida. It arrived at the set of the Palm tree in infantile, that is to say, in its first year of soccer eleven and from then it has been "burning" stages. In its second season in Seville proclaimed champion of Andalusia, but its definitive explosion arrived last season. Despite being a first-year cadet, and having a record with Cadet "B", Roberto was present in Cadet "A", with boys a year older than him. In addition to this, the emeritense made a hole bearing the "10" and leading, along with Ismael Gutierrez, the game of the Chano. This year he has continued in the same team, this time with those of his generation, and has been selected by the national team, becoming an indispensable piece for Santi Denia.

The Mancunians have not been the only ones to show interest in the Extremadura footballer. And is that Barcelona also felt seduced by Roberto and even came to offer a contract. However, it has now been the United that has taken the "lead" by taking an interest in the lad.

The Extremadura treasures a great quantity of qualities, besides having an enormous polyvalence. Its most habitual demarcation is the one of mediapunta. However, he can also act in either band or as an offensive reference. His excellent side scoring, has been the pichichi of Andalusia, his great strike to the ball stopped or his attractive vision of play are his most outstanding features.

All the UK sources are Sun/Express/Metro so I wouldn't get too excited about it.

Twats.

How much can they actually do to stop it though if he wants to leave and the clause is met?

They can do feck all if Griezzie wants to leave, which I'm assuming he does. Mourinho won't be waiting around that much I do know. The fact we aren't linked to anyone's of Griezmann's calibre, shows that we pretty are confident of his eventual arrival.

As opposed to when Atletico were going to wrap Griezmann up for us and deliver him peacefully to Carrington if their ban wasn't upheld?

Nothing. Once the clause has been triggered, if the player agrees terms then the deal will go through. As mentioned before, their ban is on registering players.

If Griezmann wants to join, this will be a 1 time opportunity. If he stays, we will get another striker. He also has this to consider. :)

Why would he think about Real Madrid if he wants first team football assurances?

I think he has a serious chance of benching Benzema, but the article states that he is not sure if the right time to move is this summer, but that he would prefer a move to Real Madrid which is his dream.

Zidane is Mbappe's idol. If not this summer, then next year the transfer will happen IMO.

Replacing Benzema with Mbappe next summer would make a lot of sense for Real Madrid.

Signed him for £2m in 2015, loaned him out since, and now selling him on for £12m. One of our better pieces of business.

Ah, the old Chelsea model. I despise it, but very much an important part of modern football it seems. He could have gone to a smaller club and played for couple of years, he would be a better player by now.

As interesting and intriguing as Mbappe is, we should stay away from him given how intent he seems to be on playing for Real Madrid. The smartest move for him is to stay at Monaco for another year and then move to a bigger club.

Matic, Dier, Keane, Perisic. Feck, I'm finding it difficult to get stoked about any of the players we're seemingly linked with. Only player getting me off my seat is Griezmann and that's looking like it's not going to be as easy to close out as expected.

That would mean no Fabinho. I personally think we wont get Matic but Fabinho hopefully, even if Matic is a good player
I wouldn't be surprised if we manage to sign both.

I find it funny that Atletico will try to get Grizemann to stay because they can't sign players. It makes the prospect of staying much more daunting for him. They'll be less competitive.
