Relax in about an hour we will be linked to someone else and round and round we go because no one has a clue.
He was 26 when he won the league under Mourinho. People decline at different ages and his started early.I think I'll just believe my eyesight on this. I watched Matic last season and he's hasn't really changed.
Aye and who was protecting Matic in Chelsea's title winning season before Kante?
Matic is cracking player and Jose trusts him so I'll welcome him with open arms.
He also knows how Jose operates, so he will not need loads of coaching. He will do as he is told.

Matic struggled most for us when we were playing a midfield 2 against pace and athleticism. When teams can transition quickly and counter attack he's slow as hell and turns like a tanker.
For this reason, I can't imagine Mou would play him in a '2' with Pogba, but rather a '3' with Pogba and Herrera.

He obviously has other skills though that trump every single redcafe poster... from a nobody to a rich fatso with considerable power in one of the biggest sports in the world. This is a grown man.
From watching him and making a sensible judgement. He played in 35 league games last season and he's not declining ffs. Where the feck did you get that from?
Peak Matic is great but I don't think he'll dovetail as well with Pogba since they both prefer to play on the left side of midfield. Fabinho is more naturally suited to the right.
He is, last year he played with kante who swept everything so mstic could push more forward to link up with forward players, matic is still great in effectiveness and will give what we need is freedom for pogba to roam and fix it's balance and own it.No he isn't.
Orc is a Chelsea fan and said this....
I'd suggest your eyes are decieving you.
He was shit the season before Kante and had one good season under Mourinho over 2 years ago, with his frame and size he was always going to decline sharply and it's clearly began.
I'm saying that when teams (like City, Spurs, Liverpool etc) played quick, one touch and up-tempo football Matic struggled mightily. If he's playing in a midfield 3 rather than a 2 where he'd have more legs around him I think he'd be much better.Orc is a Chelsea fan and said this....

Then maybe we are going to play a three, with Herrera and Pogba more attacking, Herrera helping defensively if needed?Orc is a Chelsea fan and said this....

I can't believe some of you are unhappy with potentially signing Matic. Strong and tall, hammer of a shot. Positional sense is great. I think he will free up Pogba to play further forward also.
Quite easily. How can one not like him?
That makes sense in games when we want extra solidity but I don't see that being our main formation because our wide forwards don't have enough goals in them, I think we played 4-2-3-1 more than 4-3-3 last season as a result.I think Mourinho will play Matic as a DM with Herrera just to the right of him covering Valencia and then Pogba ahead of him in the left CM position.
So because Orc is a Chelsea fan he's opinion counts more?
As I said before Matic is perfectly mobile for a midfielder. Not everyone is Kante. Players have different traits. For instance Matic wins more duels than Kante so he doesn't need to be as mobile.

#clevzinasiaChrist. You would think TC23 was coming back.
Meh, diidn't you just refer to him as mobile? Probably watched him twice this season. You clearly didn't make a sensible judgem
ent then, seeing as Jose probably knows a thing or two about signing players. Especially the ones he has worked with before.
We've only signed one player. No doubt the complainers will still hold links with Lukaku and Dier against him even though they turned out to be nonsense.Even this is just one article for crying out loud.Mourinho can pay millions to bring a literal turd to the team and some people here will still defend his choices.
But Matic isn't literally a turd, is he? Are you Jamie Redknapp?Mourinho can pay millions to bring a literal turd to the team and some people here will still defend his choices.

Another foreign player. It's Wilkins. But Matic isn't literally a turd, is he? Are you Jamie Redknapp?

Bet half the people crying about possibly signing Matic over Fabinho have barely seen Fabinho play.

Honestly, just look at his posts over the last few pages. You're wasting your breath.
Contrary to reports in England suggesting Naby Keita is close to joining Liverpool, RB Leipzig have slapped an €80m price tag on him. (Bild)
