Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

I love how Di Marzio is so trusted on this forum

If he told me that my Aunty was my Uncle I'd believe him....:wenger:

Anyway, great news about Fabinho

#Calciomercato| #ManchesterUnited very near negotiations well underway

Is this the Twitter equivalent of a mic drop?

nope. he's stated numerous times how annoying united fans are especially about silva and fabinho. Literally, nonstop tweets and questions if we are getting them. Don't blame him if he logged off.

Where is @Kevin these days? Miss him. This post is just so, so enlightening.

May I ask what part you disagree with?
Or do you disagree with both my statements?
People are already claiming Mbappe is the next big star. He has had one good season. I bet he won't live up to the expectations once he leaves Monaco. Whether this season or any time in the future.
And if you disagree with the second part, I wouldn't think you are being serious that an 18 year old commands a price of 135m€. An 18 year old who has had one decent season.

It's like with anything. You believe what you see don't you? Di Marzio is spot on bar a few calls but it happens.

Why is he so well connected when it comes to transfers? Like miles ahead of everyone else. It's a little weird. Him and that one French bloke must be hated by all the English journalists.

Mourinho looking for an external. The name is that Fabinho, '93 class of Monaco which is now very close to Manchester United. A future Red Devil, in short, and operation of about 50 million (including bonuses). The negotiations between the parties is well underway and the future of Fabinho could be in the Premier, the Mou court.

Google translation of DiMarzio article. It's fecking on

If this happens, its fecking bizzare how clueless the English media is. Being so close to the source you'd really think they'd know more.

He has a network of people and he actually pays them for the info apparently

It's been a deliberate ploy to give them nothing since the summer 2013 shocker. And rightly so, they are parasites.

Apparently he pays his sources or something like that. He should thank Pogba and Utd, that saga made him a star

He has very good connections but the thing with Di Marzio is he isn't known to engage in much clickbait gossip, which has led to him developing a bit of a reputation that when he publishes something its likely true. But anyone who knows how the game works knows that all he is doing is passing along information he's heard from various club officials of other lesser known Italian journos. That doesn't however guarantee that a transfer he talks about will definitely happen - it just means that discussions/negotiations are underway.

It's been pretty clear for a while that we have stopped giving the English journos any information when it comes to our transfer dealings.

Well to be fair Utd directly briefed them we are not in for Fabinho. Probably Woodward himself. We seem to choose when we want the deal to be public. See Mike Keegans way of always taking Utds briefs with a pinch of salt.

Di Marzio is a very respected journo in Italy and he's connected with nearly every agent on the planet. He is even receiving texts from waiters who are reporting to him when guests at the respective restaurants are players with agents. I remember him saying, when he broke the El Shaarawy to Monaco news, minutes after that Galliani sent him text telling him that it's true and asking him where did he find out

Di Marzio is very good, and if Raiola clients are involved he is the gospel, but when it comes to French stuff Bouhfasi are probably better or atleast on par.

Not like Di Marzio to tweet something that he isn't sure about though since he got a rumour to uphold, just check the replies to the tweet he made about Fabinho, he is being hailed like a transfer god.
