Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

So Hunter is still pushing Ronaldo to Arsenal theory. He went as far as saying that it is more likely that he will end up Arsenal than at Man Utd, if he leaves. The man done lost the fecking plot.

He said that Ronaldo would prefer to play in a team that create chance after chance. A team that will give him the platform to win Balon Dor. Is he fecking mental? When are Arsenal going to give Ronaldo the platform to win the Balon Dor?

Give a listen folks, the whole interview is bizarre. :wenger:

The man is a Walter Mitty character. I'd trust Indy Kaila before him.

Do NOT give it a listen. I can't stand the guy. Speaks purely for clicks and to get his voice heard. Every interview on that podcast thing he done he starts of by getting on his knees and giving the player a blowie saying how amazing it is to be in their presence. I hate his voice, hate his style of journalism, i hate him.

There, you happy!

Strange that there are no singular tweet from him on the subject if so, would be quite hot news.

That's what I thought too.

It's also a very short article.

Di Marzio is as reliable as journalists get these days, but there is still something a bit fishy about the Fabinho to United links IMO.

If Di Marzio had a definite source on something like that you'd think he would tweet it seperately since it would fetch a feckload of retweets, attention and publicity.

Anyone with twitter who can spam Pablito and Di Marzio and ask them to confirm?

Pablito let me suck your dicko. My rhyming skills are also average.

Nope. They do not tweet unless its from Di Marzio. it's on his website so it's 100% him!

Where has Di Marzio reportedly said this?

He'll fit right in with that wage structure

Yeah a serial winner will go to Arsenal and have to take a massive wage cut to pay some spotty 16 year olds who earn far more than they're worth, sounds legit.

He's just summing up the top transfer news of the day, I don't know why are you bothering with this. If it`s on his site, it's legit enough for me.

Where has Di Marzio reportedly said this?

In the article linked to the tweet. He mentions something to the effect of Fabinho has fallen out of favour with Juventus as United bid €50m for him.

 people worrying it's not got it's own specific tweet, like it's not as reliable if it's only mentioned in another article ffs

After all the hounding from Man Utd fans on twitter to Di Marzio's men, you'd have thought he would have tweeted the news of us bidding.

Its a legit link but that doesn't mean we're signing Fabinho. He could be one of several midfielders we're looking at.

If the story was legit - as in, it's likely we're signing Fabinho, then you can bet Di Marzio would dedicate a specific tweet to it.

All he's done is sum up various speculation into a short article.

Not that it isn't legit, but if I was a journo and ran a Twitter account which implies that he wants retweets and followers, I would make sure to tweet something as this seperately.

There are no bigger muppet fanbase and bigger group of people that can be whipped into a frenzy than MUFC supporters during transfer season.

Y'all know Di Marzio is an Italian journalist and will comment on Italian matters first?

Agree, I was refering to the ones doubting the news because it was not a dedicated story, just summing up.

It might be a bid that's been in place for a while. With Alves being let go Juve have been investigating replacements and discovered that Fabinho is a non-starter for them.

Its not even the main story of the article. He only mentions it in a sentence towards the end in a very casual way. Anyway, hope it's true.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it was exactly that style of report by the BBC which denied we were in for him? I guess it's just not a big news story?
