there are UK newspapers on the blacklist (rightly) how does that make sense?Because he's a sport journalist. If you don't like his tweets then ignore them.
Not sure what this particular tweet says but this is what he was quoted saying:
Arturo Vidal after arriving today to Chile: "I told (Alexis) that this is his chance to be in a big team. If he wants to compare itself with the best he needs to go to the best team in the world." (marca.com)

Tancredi is a known bullshitter though, it just seems odd that he was unblacklisted.I'd say the system is working well as it is. No changes needed at this time. We should continue to add fake news accounts (Richard Marrow) and aggregator/fan boy accounts (Hesham Bilal-Hafiz) et al.
Why not just have a list of Twitter sources that are allowed? Someone was posting from some fan blogger earlier - surely a British newspaper that has been going for decades and has paid journalists and editorial staff (say, the Mirror) is more reliable than that, yet this is blacklisted whereas a nobody on Twitter is allowed?I'd say the system is working well as it is. Ah right, I guess. Just some of the sources that are allowed seem more dodgy than the ones that are blacklisted, if you get my meaning. Like foreign versions of our British tabloids, one man band tweeters, or whatever. I guess it makes it less work for you and the other mods though.Because the list of allowed people would be far longer than the blacklist. Its a great way of creating pointless work for little benefit than what we are doing now.
Moving to Arsenal instead of Everton is more sideways than straight up.Very good young player in Belgium - ended the season with 24 goals and 15 assists. But he's far too green to be moving to Arsenal already. Rumoured moves to Celtic, Everton or even Anderlecht should've been taken before moving straight up.

I think you're doing a pretty good job in what can be a minefield to be fair. The big problem imo are fake, fanboy, and aggregator accounts - each are to varying degrees problematic in that they vary from the vaguely sourced to full on fake news. If we can minimize or eliminate each of these are go with more actual journos then this thread will be a great shape.
