Would you splash it all (or 80%) on Mbappé, if you were Arsène?
TBF, I would if I were him. It's a statement of intent, similar to Pogba. Who knows, maybe it convinces Sanchez & Ozil to re-up. It would be better than going the cheap route, plus Arsene only signed for 2 yrs, so might as well go out with a bang. Of course, he won't do it, as he doesn't want to play the same game as MUFC, MCFC, & CFC

I'd be shocked if he started at bayern Madrid or Barcelona. Doubt if he would even be guaranteed starting at City
Don't talk nonsense, he'd walk into City's team and Bayern's. Madrid could be complicated but I'd have him in ahead of Benzema and yeah he probably wouldn't get in at Barcelona without Neymar or Suarez leaving.

Would he feck? I'm a huge fan of Mbappe but Lewandowski is a far superior player to Mbappe currently.

Walk in over both Aguero and Jesus and Lewandowski ? I think he's great but slightly a bit too hyped up in here. He is a striker and wouldn't walk into Bayerns striker position over Lewandowski who is probably one of the best and most complete #9 in football right now. I think some In here mistake him as a winger. He's not.

If Aguero can stay healthy I think he's almost as good as Lewandowski, so no way Mbappe gets "first team" game time. Personally I think he should just go to Madrid. He's better than Benzema and the whole world knows they're his "dream".

Aguero and Jesus aren't bad either.
They're hardly going to be desperate to throw 100m at Manaco

Jesus, Yes
Aguero, probably not depends how pep rates him.
Lewondoski, No but he'd certainly get game time.

you said he would walk into the team. He won't. He wouldn't Be. guaranteed a start at Any of those clubs. He wouldn't be Guaranteed a start Spurs. He's a great talent but he isn't Suarez or Ronaldo at the moment. No need to overhype him

I hold my hands up... I've been alternating between this thread and Griezmann and got confused with which thread i was posting in.

Hard to regret signing B.Silva!

Rose would be a great signing for United - minor concern over his injury record but he's probably the stand out LB in the PL.
Marcos Alonso is worlds better. Azpilicuetta too on that left.

No they not.

Azpillicuetta whilst great defensively, we might as well just stick with Darmian or Shaw because he is hopeless going forward. Rose defensively isn't as good but his attacking play is miles better than Azpi.

I'd like to see Alonso playing in a back four and then compare him to Rose. With a back five he has more license to roam forward and has more protection. But once again I would prefer Rose.

I just don't think Levy is going to sell both Walker and Rose. Sell them two and everybody will be like here we go again about Spurs selling their best players.

Ahh fair enough. Greizmann would waltz into any club in the planet for sure

If we sign him, he will be deemed to be an overhyped Frenchman who would struggle to get in over Justin Kluivert at Ajax
would have to prove himself against the vast array of talented #10s in the epl... if he scores too much he doesn't create, if he creates too much he doesn't score enough. If he does both he cost too much and we should have played Rooney there instead.

And after his first season, even after winning the the clubs player of the year award, we would still need an upgrade over him.

I'm getting a funny feeling that the reason things have gone all quiet on the striker front is because we are holding out for our #1 choice which is Mbappe who we know we have bid for, the only one we have bid for. And we are one of the few teams with a definite space for him. I think maybe his comments about game time arise due to Martial and Raahford struggling to get game time and uncertainty over Ibra coming back. I wouldn't be surprised if we made assurances to him and bought him and sold Martial.

Didnt he openly say something like he'd never play for United because he dislikes Jose's brand of football?

No, that was just an article from some French journo at the heart of our negative outings against Arsenal and Spurs, I've noticed the French don't seem to like Mourinho very much, several of their ex players turned pundits have taken shots at him.

Hasn't he said critical things of the French league and its' teams? Maybe that's why

He's had little digs at all the other leagues in his pimping of the PL but the Bundesliga seems to have been the one he's taken the heaviest swipes at.

Nonsense. Alonso didn't even play more than a handful of minutes at LB all season. He'd get roasted in a back 4 because he isn't really that good defensively.

"Andy Robertson at Hull remains a target, while they are also monitoring Manchester City target Benjamin Mendy."

 Are they feck.

Signing Clichy will be good for Liverpool. Youngster Milner can learnt a lot from him and when Clichy moves on, Milner will take his place.
