Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

I've been in the "no way Perisic is our primary AM target" camp from the start. Morata, I'm not sure about, he makes a lot more sense for us, so I'm hoping there's something in those stories.

Pilib de Brun said on his podcast a couple of weeks ago that Perisic was the 'Europa League target' (the player we'd identified as a backup to our first-choice target, and that we'd be confident if securing, even in the event that we failed to qualify for the Champions League). He went on to say that United have concerns about his pace, but that he understood our first-choice target is unobtainable.

Pace is definitely his main strength, what they are blabbing about.

The guy is an unstoppable machine.

I thought his pace was supposed to be one of the positives about him.

That all makes slightly more sense than him being our primary target, but it still makes little sense to me that he'd be anywhere near the top of our list for attacking additions.

I've never seen any evidence to suggest that Pilib de Brun has a clue what he is talking about.

Spot on about Pogba last year. Completely shot down the Ronaldo stuff this year. He's been pretty spot on from what I've seen.

If that's the bar that we're holding him to then half this forum is 'spot on'.
Well, no. That was two examples. If he was this attention seeker looking for re-tweets, then he wouldnt have given the unpopular truth that the Ronaldo thing was a no-go. Attention seekers generally go with what will get them the most hits. Which he didnt do.

Short term, but being constantly wrong soon gets you ignored.

There's nothing in either example there to suggest that he's doing anything more than collating media reports and providing common sense analysis of what's going on.

If this is true, and the stuff about Griezmann was true, then Griezmann is an absolute bellend

He could surely have just done a deal to go to Utd in January. Atletico are hardly left in the lurch if they can sign Diego Costa

A bellend for being loyal. Cool.

He said a week before Pogba signed that Mourinho had 'nixed' the deal.

that means one of Morata, Lukaku, Lacazette, Dembel is on his move as we speak and the transfer will be concluded by the end of the week

The club won't be aiming that high for a mere back-up. It's either going to be a young prospect or someone of the mould of Wagner.

J for Juventus.

Thus we have the JMedical, JMuseum, JStore, JVillage now the J crest and so on.

Btw Jeep is owned by Elkann/Agnelli and I guess they thought that having Jeep as the main sponsor would have benefited from the J alliteration.
But
I got the gist, just think it's crap. And yes, it looks more like something strengthening Jeep (it looks more J for Jeep than J for Juventus).

I dont think the first three want to sit on the bench

Nah, i was being sarcastic. In the last couple of yeara Bayern were very efficient in getting their targets. Once the media broke the news who was Bayern intrested in the mentioned player was alrady having a medical.

That usually casued some meltdown here.

That's because he is an attention seeking idiot. He's just a fan with opinion pieces like me and you.

Pointless posting his tweets.

He gets way too defensive on twitter as well. You question him on his sources he gets very angry. When you point out a transfer from his source turns out to be wrong he'll go on about how he never said we'd sign said player just United are interested.
