Isn't he quite injury prone or was it just 1 that kept him out for a bit? Decent keeper though, think he'll hold down England's #1 before long if he stays fit.

That is laughable. Perisic is one of the most pacy attackers in the world without a doubt. His best way of beating defenders is by utilizing pace.
If real madrid trying to so sign Mbape, then we should wait until they sign him, and then we can offer them 40m for Morata ( whom I dont want), cause they will have to sell anyway. Our targets are so depressing, Morata, Perisic, Matic.. names that we all have doubts about, none of them has two good seasons in a raw. 
They won't sell Morata prior to signing Mbappé. Real Madrid know the game, they won't do anything until a solid offer comes in for Morata that they're happy with.
The only thing we can do, in my opinion, is play hardball. Essentially play chicken, and not up our offer. They'll start to sweat as it nears the end of the window and may take the slightly reduced amount just so they can get something in before snatching Mbappé up - and with it likely being a world record fee, it's not something that can be done on deadline day.

Morata is a very good player. Would be a great buy.

He had only one good season where most of his goals came from the bench, scoring in dead games. While his performance in Juventus was average for a striker scoring only 8 goals. He is 24 years and there is nothing special about him, usually brilliant talents shine already at age 18 and 19 like Rooney, Ronaldo, Mbape and many others. But for him, to hit 24 years and still a substitute is nothing impressive. I am not saying he is not going to turn out to be a great player, but signing him for that big money is a huge risk on someone who has a very high failure rate than the other world class strikers.
This seems to have gathered pace again. Good if true.
