Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Does anybody really believe the Ronaldo story? He's very comfortable in Madrid and I'm sure his son is too.

It's a strop by Ronnie. He'll sort his tax issue, or Real will offer the 15mill in a contract renewal to cover it. Cant see him going anywhere at all.

Put him on a plane,
Bring him back from Spain,
Viva Ronaldo!

Real Madrid have built and optimized their whole team around him. By the time United or any other team buys him and builds a team around him to get the best out of him he will be 34. Is Valencia going to suddenly improve his crossing to the levels Ronaldo needs? This transfer is nonsense.

We have Pogba, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Herrera's delivery, at least. And we've seen what Ibrahimovic did here aged 35 - Ronaldo is a better player and is, possibly, even more freakishly physically and mentally gifted.

Even if we didn't bring the best out of him he'd bang 20goals

Didn't Ronaldo have a disappointing season until the Champions League got into the knockouts? I haven't followed Madrid this season but i'm sure I remember people moaning about his performances.

He'll go to PSG if he leaves, we can't spend insane amounts on 32 year old players and Mourinho and Ronaldo hate each other I believe. I'm pretty sure he disikes Pep too, otherwise....Ronaldo to City? :nervous:

We need fullbacks at Marcelo levels.

Now that the tax evasion angle is being mentioned is proof that its just a strop. Protesting his innocence in a grand way to save face.

That makes no sense.

46 games 42 goals in all competitions for Madrid, by his high standards of usually averaging over 1:1 some Madrid fans might moan.

I think Italy might be his next destination.. AC Milan or Inter with their Chinese owners and money..

Whatever the Ronaldo rumours, I just want us to close the Morata deal ASAP before we get caught up further in the media storm and 'lose our way', only to find out we are stuck with nothing when the storm is over.

Welcome home lad, we even kept #7 open for you :drool::drool: (I still think he stays in Madrid)

But when the same player is wanted by a top english club especially Manchester United the price becomes double.

Like somewhere I read that Lyon's president will prefer to sell lacazatte to a french club than to english clubs. Like I don't understand what benefit will that have. Another example roma or inter don't think twice when selling a player to juventud but when a united or Liverpool bids for their players they play hard ball aka persic and salah. It's not like juve is any poor. They do have money.

Where did you read that nonsense?

Where did you read that nonsense?
Here, probably.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has suggested he would have no problems selling to PSG counterpart Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

“I know Nasser suggested to Noel Le Graet [president of the French Football Federation] that he is not investing that much in French players because he thought other presidents of French clubs looked badly upon it,” Aulas told France Football.

“I want him to know that if he makes an offer for Alexandre at least equal to that of the other clubs bidding for him, then Alex can go to Paris without problem.

“I am a businessman and a modern club president. Transfer money must be reinvested into French football, as I always did when we were at the peak of our powers.

“When transfer money is shared abroad, it strengthens our competitors instead.”
