You seem to be emotionally invested on that one.

The fact is that Atletico have a good team, they are competitive and they can win, it's that simple.

Yes, Atletico has a good team but I honestly struggle to see what they can win. Their two main rivals in Spain and Europe will get stronger next season. Meanwhile, Atletico cannot register players till January. Winning for them domestically and in Europe will only get tougher.

Have you ever seen Morata? He's 6'3 and fairly strong.

Morata is certainly no push over.

Belotti on the other hand, is not only strong, he looks like a bull. His back looks built for those cage battles.

First they can't register for this window not the next 5 years and they have talented young players in their team. People overreact and exaggerate for a reason that is a mystery to me, Atletico don't even need to revolutionize their roster.

Really? Ok...and 2nd place means nothing. Imagine we win the Champions league in 2 years and Atletico get another one final but lose again. Who would have had more success during the period? Great coach and some great players but consistently a third fiddle and going to get tougher in Europe.

I think with Vitolo signing and lets say they get Diego Costa they will have a run at the champions league next season. They are excellent over two legs and surely Real can't win every season? Not sure how much better Barca, Bayern, Real could get next season. I suspect they are a genuine contender again.

You are debating alone here, the other poster predicted no success to a team that is currently competitive. At no point did I say that 2nd place was akin to success.

Interest in the Defense Chief - Manchester and Chelsea hot on Sokratis

They should change it to "England's most successful club" though.

Feel a chant is coming along here.

Alvaro Morata, he is a Spanish hero.
6ft 3,
Fairly Strong...
Alvaro Morata, he is a Spanish hero
Or is he Italian,
Like Robert de Niro?
Maybe Welsh
Maybe Dutch
Or could he be Brazilian?
I don't care, cause in the end
We signed him for a bazillion.

What does this even mean? It's a generic message when any page doesn't work.

Additionally, the staff probably writes these up early for every player United targets. That way, when the signing is official, the article can be posted within seconds.
