Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

It is no that impossible, there is reportedly a bit of tension between Verratti and the club. He has spent the entire season at talking about a move, through his agent.
But definitely not for 80 mil euros.

PSG will dig their heels in whether he wants to leave not.

Thiago Silva and Marquinhos are two that have showed willingness to leave in the past but PSG remained resolute.

... I feel, JM is going for this 433 formation –

Belotti
Perisic_________Morata

Pogba_______________Herrera
Fabinho

Shaw____Lindelof____Bailly____Valencia

DDG

...

That'd be 5 new players for your starting XI. Do you not get concerned about the continuous churn (including over the last 4 seasons) and time it'd take to bed so many new players in?

Thiago Silva and Marquinhos have not asked to leave and they have not sent their agents to leak anything. Barcelona were interested and used papers while both players either stayed quiet or confirmed that they were staying.

Morata, Lindelof, Fabinho, nice! Woody, test the waters for. Dembele, James and Veratti. Come on Woody, you know you want to!

That's hardly a surprise. Not many technically gifted players are willing to play in a team that isn't possession oriented.

I've said it during the season and I'll say it again, no matter how big of a name Mourinho is in world football, his dull, defensive bus parking style gonna cost his some signings he wants to make.
Absolute nonsense

My point is that PSG in the face of that pressure have always stayed resolute.

Didn't they threaten to go after Ronaldo and Messi wgen Real and Barca respectively showed interest in their players.

This is also a player Al-Khelaifi deemed untransferable with about 4/5 years on his contract.

That simply isn't a player leaving for 80 mil.

I'd like to see Fabinho and Morata tied up in the next few days. That would just leave one blockbuster signing in the area behind the striker.

There was no pressure from the players though, Thiago Silva and Marquinhos have done the opposite of what Verratti is doing.

Transfer-blockbuster at the #Bayern! International @SergeGnabry changes from Bremen to Munich.

Lots of small souces reporting this interest but none of the big ones reporting this beyond a casual mention in another united articles. Odd
Not that odd. Happens all the time on twitter when a few nobodies spread false rumours.

You are basing your entire argument in a piece from le'quipe.

What part of your post is conclusively true? What are the examples of such players snubbing Mourinho because of his dull football. Ones which we have interest.

Wake up and smell the coffee, I'm basing my opinion on the facts and those facts being Mourinho was criticising players publicly way too much last year and he's not exactly playing some eye-catching, flashy style of football.

29 transfer tweet alerts . I think that's a record for me. Basically James being touted out to everyone. As is Mbappe. And the Mirror using the donut reference for the sake of using the donut reference. Tabloids are fecking gash.

Was thinking the same. No major French, Brazil and English outlets have gone with it.

Even with that, the contract length and the presidents statements show that this would not be easy to deal to make.

Angling for a move might also trigger PSG.'s resistance even further.

He signed 2 renewals within the last couple of years, makes no sense if he wanted to leave soon after, considering how difficult it would be after that.

And how does that 'fact' have any thing to do with your earlier statement that players don't want to sign for us because of Mourinho's playing style?

Reliable?
Why do you even need to ask that? Just look at the profile.

Could everyone not do that before posting everything they see on Twitter? The thread is getting cluttered with shit.

Where exactly have I said that the "playing style" was the only reason some players will have doubts about joining

PSG after a French striker
Caf covets Veratti

Would you swap Martial + cash for Veratti?
I might be crazy here but from what I've seen I think I'd prefer Naingollan to Veratti. I know he's played further forward this season but he's also historically been in a more defensive position. Only issue is his age when considering a big transfer fee. If we had him and Fabinho, that would be an incredibly solid trio. Would put our midfield up there with the rest of Europe's elite.

Your rant started on that.

Since then you have failed to give any example of players that have not joined Mourinho because of his playing style and then gone on some weird rant about Mourinho criticising the players which had nothing to do with the original topic on hand.

It seems like another one of those pointless criticisms to further an agenda.

It was no rant it was a normal and very valid point for any non-deluded football fan.

Love it how some of those more detached from reality fans always cry "agenda, agenda" everytime someone raises a valid point.

Are you supporting Manchester United or Mourinho?

Are you honestly telling me that what I've theorized about some players having 2nd thoughts about joining us due to our unattractive style of football and our manager publicly criticising certain players and being very selective at it?
