Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Slightly offtopic I know, but is there a place I can find a comprehensive list of all summer transfers? The Permier League website has them but only for that league.

Sanchez is as good as any of them.
He's not. Bob is a level above him, Thiago is on the same level(which is incredible given he's a midfielder) and on a good night Robben is still better than all of them

People wants us to finish our signings quickly, but when the club raise their offer for that signing to finish it quickly people complain about him being overpriced.

There's just no pleasing united fans anymore. The incessant moaning is getting worse.

I thought the Perisic crap was dead, but it rises back up like a slasher movie killer. :(

To save you a click - Benfica want more money. At least €40 million. That's pretty much it.

Benfica needed some way to keep this story going.

Perisic for 50 million, Morata for 80 or 90, we're really getting fleeced this summer. I thought we'd stand a bit stronger under Jose, but that doesn't appear to be the case. He, apparently, wants certain players at all costs, so that's what we're seemingly going for. The worst part is, I don't believe Morata and Perisic will truly significantly improve us.

Maybe these are the types of reasons why Jose is one of the best football managers in the world and the rest of us are just armchair managers...he sees things for the team that we just do not. I mean I really do not see it.

How do you know he apparently wants certain players at all costs?

Well Said completely agree with this.

The fact that we, at least, continue to improve our offers to heights that simply don't justify the player's value, even in today's market. Of course it's the papers and it can't always be trusted, but I'm just assuming there's some truth to us increasing our offers if rumors continue to swirl around. And yes, I'm aware of the Gaitans and Garays in this world.

Guys..No one has been signed yet so don't lose your minds over rumoured prices.

Lindelof was 60m in January that has now all of the sudden become 35m.

Morata isn't a big enough name to warrant the fee's being quoted for him. James Rodriguez on the other hand is a big name and in marketing terms his value is even higher!

Remember Tancredi and his #145 crap last summer over Pogba? Wouldn't trust him at all.

He still tweets it now. Unbelievable stuff.

And what makes you so sure that Aubameyang will score 30 goals in England? Of course Pogba is a Jose player - why would he be willing to sanction a world record fee if he is not? Mkhi is a Jose player - he works his socks off and was always contributes defensively. This is something that I think Aubameyang lacks. What makes Aubemeyang world class and Morata not? Aubameyang has never expressed any desire to join us, and Jose does not know him personally like he does with Morata. Herrera and Mata were not bought by Jose, so yes, maybe they are not his kind of players, but both of them, Herrera in particular, have responded well to Jose and upped their game this season.

We can't just buy the players who score the most goals, or won the most tackles, or made the best saves - we need to buy the players that the manager feels he can work best with, and will help the TEAM best, over someone who on paper seems to be a better player BUT a worse fit. We know Jose wants Morata because we have BID for him, so let's trust Jose and let him get the players he wants.

All I can say... Well done, sir, well done.

At the end of the day, Jose is the one who makes the decision. It seems that he has decided on Morata, and I agree with him and I want the move to go through as soon as possible so that we can move on to other targets to continue improving the team. You and others may think that other strikers are more worth the money, but we fans are not Woodward or Jose, so I think we should all stop with the "better to spend the money on so and so". I rather look at the targets that Jose has identified, hope to see these transfers done ASAP and than analyse how they will shape and improve our team next season.

How do you know that Jose has already decided on Morata? The fact is that only Woodward and Jose know who they have identified as targets. If I was Jose I would go for Aubameyang but I'm not Jose. I haven't seen Morata or Aubameyang play, but I saw the statistics. Aubameyang has done well in a league which is much more competitive than Serie A (where Morata got 12 goals) or La Liga IMO. You might have seen more of these 2 players than me.

Please no Perisic. Puhhlease! That too for 50M? fecking hell!

You can see the meltdown next season already if things don't start well...we paid more for Persic and Morata than Bernardo Silva and Auba....
