Galatasaray boss flies into England, fancies Wimmer and Janssen from Tottenham.

#Roma, #Strootman renews his contract until 2022

We linked Nainggolan to Man United a few weeks ago but he's not likely to leave Roma for any club

A few weeks ago I refrained myself from pointing out that Naingollan was very close to his sister who plays for Roma. I suspect that it's a big problem for him.

Yeah, they're very close. His wife is Italian too, I believe.

So city already signed Silva, Ederson and according to today's news they are signing a top center half and 2 full backs. I think they are going over 300 million easy.

One can only hope they gorge too heavily on the trough and end up making themselves sick.

City have spent over 150m on centre backs and it got them nowhere.

Who gives a shit what they do.

Throw enough money at the problem and the law of averages says it'll work out eventually.

Even though Pep can only seemingly implement his style with world class players, City spending the way they are indicates they'll do anything to make Pep a success, which should worry us regardless of how we spend (which we will).

@Damien Would there be a way to filter these notifications by League (perhaps by having separate threads for the big countries that you can opt out of receiving notifications from?) it's a matter of minor irritation for me constantly getting notifications to a tweet in Italian about how a club I don't care about has signed a player I haven't heard of.

Yep, every summer we're told they've finally solved their defensive deficiencies but it's always this year that's different..

That is cheap as feck. Kessie is very talented although a bit raw. Milan doing superb business, i think we ll see them in champions league season after the upcoming one.
I really think English clubs need to put their heads together and determine a universal strategy for dealing with buying from abroad.

You can bet that if an English club put in an enquiry for Kessie there'd have been an extra €20m on top.

Pep is going bat shit crazy with money. Will media call him a cheque book manager? will they question city's money? or is that reserved for us?

It will be ignored if he gets that team playing free flowing football and stomping teams on the way to the PL title, they'll only call out his approach if he fails to deliver the title next season.

Nope, he is nothing more than a guy who owes his career to Lionel Messi, Juup Heynckes and open chequebooks.

Of course I'm being a bit overdramatic but he isn't the saviour of football like the English claimed he was when he was announced as the City manager.

Listen yeah. You seem to be very unappreciative of what we have in the premier league. First Kante and now Pep. We should be priveledged these folks come in our league and are not in Spain.

Maybe you a bit jealous because both do the bald look right. But enough of it.

Italy will have 4 positions in CL starting from next season. Of course they should qualify with Juve, Roma and Napoli. Don't know what Inter is planning in this summer, though.

Milan has taken some good steps this season, good manager, a new board willing to spend and qualified for European competition this season, the missing part is the players and they're linked to very good players now. They're finally on the right track.

Hope they smash Arsenal in Europe League next season.

I think he is staying put. Do lepzig need to sell? If not looks like he doesnt want to move at all with that interview.

City are basically playing FM on cheat mode. Is Guardiola actually able to win anything without having a team of world class players? Guess we'll never know.

If they don't win the treble next season it will be a failure.

Logical thinking. No way to spoil your career by joining Liverpool. Lepzig is much better.

Exactly. You'd think they signing players that are similar to his Bayern and Barca squad.

That midfield and defence is still shocking. Kyle Walker is decent, but he's no Alves or Lahm. He was probably the weak link in the Spurs defence and teams fancied they could get at him.

Still don't see any players that can dictate the game for Pep. Fabinho isn't that type of player.

I think it's just setting up for disaster with that defence and midfield. Most of the best prem sides in history have had one fullback that is slightly more defensive than the other. Mendy and Walker is over kill. Maybe it would work in one team or two team leagues, but not the prem. It works for Spurs because they a high pressing team, they have good two centre back with Wanyama and Dembele protecting. City have just one good centre back. Stones is accident waiting to happen.

The new goalkeeper is still young and will need time to settle. Karius was highly rated and look what happened to him. De Gea needed time.

I think not, I am sure douglas can play on left too. Also Lucas has had his best season till date.

Didn't they have too many wingers ? Moura, Di Maria, Draxler, Ben Arfa and they want Costa. Sure one of these are going to leave, maybe Di Maria ?

They are trying to get Bonucci. That is a huge improvement along with Mendy fabinho and Walker. Today their are reports of city wanting alexis and keeping Aguero. That is just mad. Does Pep know he can only play 11 players?

Ben arfa is leaving. Di maria maybe also. Draxler playes in the middle.
