Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

I'd be shocked if Arsenal let him go to another PL team, obviously there's precedent with RvP but they're in a completely different position this time - with much greater competition.

They'd take a big hit to see him go to Bayern or someone else.
Thing is I doubt Bayern would offer even close to the wages he'd get from City. Arsenal may have little choice.

Mourinho has no compunction selling talented young players if he feels they won't fit into his plans.

So according to him, their team will be..

Ederson
Def
DM
Bernardo Sanchez Sane
Aguero Jesus

With De Bruyne, D Silva and Sterling on the bench. Completely balanced and totally realistic.

They're going to play like the 50s football, concede 5 goals but score 10 each game.

City's formation next season:

--------------Ederson---------------
--------------Stones----------------
----------Gundogan/Yaya----------
Silva-Sterling-Silva-KDB-Sanchez-Sane
----------Jesus---Aguero----------

They probably only bought B.Silva cos they heard United were after him, they don't have to play him. People seem to be struggling with the concept that they have (to all intents and purposes) unlimited funds.

Was hoping No one notices him so we can buy him next summer. Looks like allclubs have good scouting:wenger:. His long shooting reminds me of scholes, i managed Nice on fm 2017 and then started following him as he had a good season for me. Looks a good player but very raw. If we were really interested in kessie, i think we should be interested in him. He is like Mini Pogba.

He's 26? Where has this guy been hiding all this while. He looks pretty good for a defensive midfielder!

That's starting to take transfers to BS level.

They're basically now linked to every player possible in the market. When will they get linked to Messi ?

I would assume, the moment he becomes available

"Liverpool bid strongly for Ghezzal, who was offered to Valencia CF"

"Guardiola insists on Bonucci"

25. He has been great this season. Dint know he existed before december.
His distribution, even under pressuse, looks terrific. Can't say much about his defensive abilities and positional sense though. But just based on that video, he looks like someone who should be paid more attention to this coming season.

And he's being linked to Barcelona now? Would you consider putting in a cheeky bid for him if you were Jose?

City are basically playing FM on cheat mode. Is Guardiola actually able to win anything without having a team of world class players? Guess we'll never know.

Nope, he is nothing more than a guy who owes his career to Lionel Messi, Juup Heynckes and open chequebooks.

Of course I'm being a bit overdramatic but he isn't the saviour of football like the English claimed he was when he was announced as the City manager.

So what you're saying is.. Pep isn't the great coach people make him out to be.

Luis Enrique won the treble with Barca. If Pep can only win with world class players what's the difference between them two?

I'd like to have seen Pep with this Barca's midfield, would he have won anymore than Enrique did?

So city already signed Silva, Ederson and according to today's news they are signing a top center half and 2 full backs. I think they are going over 300 million easy.

How many centre backs are they going to shell out?!

And that joker Bravo wasn't actually their top choice? Incredible relevation. Seems utter madness to ship the England number 1 for a fill in.

Good luck trying to incorporate them all quickly.

A better Real Madrid team and better European teams? Pep is meant to be this fantastic man manager who will make teams better.. that is if he is given unlimited resources to do so rather than coaching the players.

Pep is going bat shit crazy with money. Will media call him a cheque book manager? will they question city's money? or is that reserved for us?

pep the type of guy who only plays fifa with tots blue cards and blames goals on the opposition internet connection
