This place will go mad if Alexis joins City

I hope he fecks off to another league, Bayern or someplace else.

Alexis Sanchez will be Manchester City player in the coming days

I have to ask why he would leave to go to City and why would they want him? He plays either as a striker in which Aguero, Jesus and Iheanacho to cover even if one leaves that still stifles progress of G.Jesus.

Or he plays as a winger and City still have the same issue they have just bought Bernardo Silva and also have David Silva, Raheem Sterling and Sane playing out wide....

Some great names linked to us recently, I'll be so disappointed now if we end up with a couple of bang average players in the end.

You guys seem to have quite the war chest if reports are to be believed. Whats the latest on VVD?

Who's this guy? Never seen his name mentioned before in reliable journos.

Reporter for a Barcelona Radio Station. Seems pretty hit and miss. Was the one who started a meltdown on here a few weeks ago by claiming Fabinho was close to signing for City.

-----------Jesus
Sane--De Brunye--Sanchez
-----B. Silva----shiny new midfielder

With Aguero, David Silva and Sterling on the bench.

Could be a host of reasons, money, Pep, money, Prem, money...

Let them keep stockpiling forward players, they can't all play and you'll find he'll end up upsetting a lot of them.

I think it's a pointless signing with the players they already have. Wouldn't be mad at all, since it would be stupid by them. One of their other good players would have to go.

If Alexis joins City, then they will certainly be the favourites next season and will be a lot stronger in the Champions League.

Yeah, it's utterly pointless signing the best player in the league.

3 years probably. Will contribute handsomely in the marketing department as well, for that duration, if not longer.

Makes signing young players a bit easier, everyone is convinced Mbappe is going to real because he is a massive cr7 fan.

The De Gea situation might explain why they are being so awkward with Morata.

Probably Aguero and that will not seriously weaken them considering what Jesus can bring to the team, Bernardo Silva's acquisition and Alexis' incredible attacking talents.

Aguero, David Silva and Sterling on the bench 3 players that would all get game time at top clubs around the world... He would be crazy to fo there when he could literally go to a number of teams and earn just as much with success.

If he goes to City their forward line will be best in PL.

Also Mourinho has now mentioned 3 times he has given his player list to Woody 2 months ago, it seems he is getting slightly worried he might end up with scraps at this rate.

did he say it again? :D

It'll be considerably less than that. 50million euros is the rumoured starting negotiation price. Still he's a really raw player so unless we were getting him in addition to Salah I'd rather we just paid the cash for him. Can see there dragging out for another month at least.

But you said it's easier for you guys to close down a transfer when a player you're after has a release clause, and this one is 60 million. I assumed you were implying that Liverpool can just payout that clause and get it done...

Why? It's only Griezmann that is definitely off the list and Woody can't be blamed for that.

Far from that. He will make them serious favourites for the league. Guardiola might want to have three forward players who can give a solid goal return. Sterling is terrible in front of goal and Jesus is better as a CF. So Sanchez will slot in nicely as the RWF. The three forwards will be fed by players like KDB, B.Silva, Silva and Gundogan. It will be the perfect setup for them.
