Thank the lord for Real Madrid. Bidding €60m for fecking Alvaro Morata.

Jose was right, £89M for Pogba will look like a bargain and it's already started to look that way.

£60m is too much for the spanish wellbeck, if we cant do a deal then we should move on to another target.

Actually yesterday I heard the same in Spain.Madrid want 100,that would be 30 if de Gea is included.I didn't post because I thought that the journalist was crazy (Eduardo Inda)

Sounds a bit odd. Was reported over here on Sunday (as you may have seen on here) that we'd want Morata plus £23m for De Gea, or £66m outright.

That's well and truly out the window for now I imagine.

Milan suspect that Madrid are behind the renewal offer that Donnarumma rejected

If we pay 60 million euros for Morata im upset, never mind 90  lets just buy kane for 90, surely he would be available for that
I want us to sign Kane above the others.

Agreed that Madrid must be scrounging up funds for Mbappe. We should gazump their bid and sign him to a 6 year contract so they don't come looking in 3 years.

No chance, not when Everton are asking for £100m for Lukaku. The market's gone absolutely up the wall.

We'll find a deal for Morata. If it's true that we've bid, then Jose has convinced the player to come. €70m plus add ons I guess.
oh god no, please no. 70m for a bench warmer. for an average player.

Supply and demand. Not many decent strikers to go for (who will fit into our team anyway) and Madrid know it, otherwise they would bite our hand off.

Pleased with the news that we want him and hopefully we can get him without being fleeced too much lol

Yeah get fecked at that price. Don't go a penny over the bid we've already made.

Let them try and even get the 52M we've offered from anyone else.

Morata is young and a deadly striker. He's worth €65 at a stretch in today's market. I highly doubt we've put in any bid though.
These are the same reporters who said we'd rejected a £60 million offer for De Gea when in reality there was nothing of the sort.

Now watch Real sell Morata at 30m next season, always out to rob us fecking cnuts

Ousmane Dembele may feel this is the right time to join Barcelona from Dortmund after Thomas Tuchel's exit.

If he is available. Then it makes sens that we should go for him. He is a Man Utd fan and he said it a year ago.
Really? Muppet mode on!

At least we can ask 200mill for Dave now

F it. If Morata's worth 90m, we should as for 500 billion and an original copy of the bible to start negotiations and then 1 trillion and ownership of Spain's future GDP for the next 500 years upon completion of the transfer.

£70m is madness, he's not even a starting player. My guess is that it's their reaction to us asking for a big fee for Dave.

78m gbp for Morata :eek:. Perez must really be mad about that Fax-machine incident.

Hopefully we're not funding their Mbappé bid with those kind of crazy money.

We should send Raiola over there, he'll break some chairs.

That's obviously not his price, that's his price to Man United.

 Anyone else get the feeling this window is going the same way as the one Moyes had?
Early days, but it does have that feeling about it

It all started when Mourinho said "I'm off on holiday and leaving it to Ed"

Who will be our deadline day Fellaini equivalent?

If we give De Gea AND money to Madrid for Morata I think there would be riots outside Old Trafford. This was always going to happen when they want one of our players and don't need the money. I would rather we went all out and bought Mbappe who they clearly want to purchase.

WTF are Real Madrid thinking? 52m GBP is a great fee for Morata for them. They signed him back for much cheaper just last summer and he's a rotation player for them...

We better not bid 78 million for Morata. If we do then as mentioned above at least 150 million for De Gea Mr Perez.

Not that I've watched him any myself, but from what I've read he had a very good season now after a poor season previously. I'd much rather we sign a 24 y/o rapid RW than a 28 y/o rapid LW, assuming roughly equal talent.
Except that we need a left winger.
