Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Southampton's chairman was pretty firm in his two interviews this year that (a) Van Dijk isn't for sale and (b) they could turn down up to £60m

So if Van Dijk does force his way out, the buying club will need to fork out a lot.

Daniel Levy must be a third party owner the dealings SOuthampton have manged over the last several years. I say that as the only real genuine quality transfer was Bale to Spurs. Walcott to Arsenal, Shaw to us, Fonte to West Ham, all of the Liverpool transfers. All decent players but the majority seriously over rated and over priced. Shaw I still have hope for and Llannaa would be quality if he had any pace and could finish but Djik for me is just another good SOuthampton player not worth half the fee being mentioned, dont want and dont think we are interested either.

1 I guess if we are including charity shields 0 if u dont.
in no way shape or form did moyes get a trophy, it was never said that he did and it will never be said that he did. We never counted it as a trophy when saf won it. Not sure why people are saying we won 3 when its really just 2. . Jose Mourinho is the first manager to win a trophy in his first year as a manager at United because he won the League cup first not the COC

He must have read that off his boyfriends arse. How else can he be a few days late with the news unless they use old newspaper when the loo roll run out.
Nah, if he read it off his Boyfriend's ass it would have been accompanied by a THUNDERBOOM! Must be a quiet night at home with wine spritzers and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

He used to be. Not anymore. Raoul removed him due to the Pogba business.

Pogba was one of the most obvious transfers in history. Even a broken clock tells the right time twice, doesn't change the fact that trancendi knows about as much as a brick.

Think that's a bit harsh...

...on the brick.

When Withnail & I quotes start springing up, you know muppet season is reaching its heights

Pogba to United wasn't obvious at all until after the European championships finished last summer. Most people's money was on him going to Madrid.

This summer making the Valencia/Owen summer look like a muppets dream.

Other than Griezmann which is dead in the water, who have we been actually linked to?

Keane? Morata half-arsed?

Shocking.

Not really. Madrid were in but they were never going to match our fee. That much was obvious during the tournaments. They were never going to break up the best midfield pair in the world and pay 100m in the process. It was an open goal for us to sign, only we were crazy enough to stump up such a fee.
