Again, this is like complaining that a criminal was acquitted because the prosecution couldn't provide damning evidence. Dea Gea wanted to leave; Real wanted to sign him; it was up to them - not us - to seal the deal well before the final day.
This. We never said he wasnt for sale. We had a firm asking price for him (32.6m) which should have easily served as a starting point for negotiations. We dropped him from the team, which is the clearest indication that we were looking to sell.

If United was on the other end of this, I shudder to think what the media would be saying. Biased cnuts.

We should have set a deadline, but we didn't. Last day deal shouldn't have been entertained by us in the first place.
DDG AND Mendes should have been told no deal is happening after x date, end of.

We should make a statement and it should be: "It's deadline day, we have more important things to do than respond to Madrid".

Be interesting to see what the club says. 8 hours to perform the due diligence and get response over would be unacceptable in my company if it had been agreed to be fast tracked that day.

Doesn't sound like it's Woodys/LvG fault but our conpliance/legal team.

I'm glad to be fair, hope we did it on purpose.

Wouldn't believe the buy clause on Januzaj, it would of been announced as a loan with a later option to buy the same as United announced Hernandez last summer. But it was only announced as a loan.

I don't understand this logic at all. Deadline day seems like a perfectly good deadline to me. We're not the one who decided to wait this long, we even gave clear indication he was for sale (benching, asking price etc). This is a farse - no doubt about that - but to blame it on Ed, or anyone else in our front office is absurd. Our stance has seemingly been the same for months now.

Is Messi Minutes reliable? Doesn't sound like it is.

Check the Januzaj thread, I think someone in there was saying this exact thing. Its in the local papers in Dortmund or something like that.
There is clause which appears to have been hidden (or at least the one of the clubs didn't want it publicised)

United announced it was a "one year loan". Dortmund haven't announced any buyout clause. Doesn't suggest a buyout clause to me.

I read something like Dortmund will keep 50m euros in the bank ready to try and buy Januzaj if he does well. I thought that they may just try and bid that but could that possible be the buy out clause?

No there is no formal clause, but some sort of broad understanding between the clubs is what is said.

Dunno, we'll see.

Maybe we backtrack if LVG is sacked by then.

No chance the Adnan clause is true.
This would be the same liable Dortmund media that convinced us we were signing Hummels and Gundogan

Watch half our team come back from the international break injured.
