Madrid have pretty much directly blamed all the mess on United. Including saying they weren't negotiating before.

didn't they already acknowledge that we sent everything on time ? the spanish media said it as well.

Madrid fecked up and are now blaming utd so the fans don't scream for Perez's head.

I think we have bigger problems that than transfer sage of De Gea.

I, for one, don't care about what's happened. We get to keep De Gea and that makes our defense a bigger force than before.

Typical Madrid trying to blame everyone but themselves.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT | 01/09/2015

1. Manchester United did not open through negotiation by the federal rights of David de Gea until morning yesterday.

2.- Real Madrid, despite the difficulties of an operation of this kind in the last day of registration, you agreed to initiate these conversations.

3. When the Manchester United accessed through negotiation this morning yesterday makes it contingent to reaching an agreement with Real Madrid player Keylor Navas to be incorporated from the British club this season, and reports that contacts with representatives of the player.

4. Real Madrid and Manchester United reach a rapid agreement on the transfer of both players. 9. At 00:26 Spanish time the computer system of FIFA TMS makes an invitation to Real Madrid to fill Player data David de Gea, given that the deadline for registration in England remains open to this day. Real Madrid, in the eventuality of a contentious course of the transfer of the player, decided to refer the contract to the Professional Football League, even knowing that the deadlines had expired.

10. In short, the Real Madrid has made everything you need, and at all times, to carry out these two transfers

I hope we release a statement thrashing the shit out of them and including the words 'we sent the documents on time. Unfortunately for David, real had neither heard of technology nor did they keep a clock in their offices'

I thought we could sign Navas today? How could that hold up the deal, the feckers didnt even try to appeal it today.

Woodwood should release a statement and just rip into Madrid. He would become my hero if he did this, this could be Drake vs Meek Mill all over again!

What the feck did I just watch on Sky.. Holloway saying we should be embarrassed and should have got it done weeks ago, what!? We're not buying him for fecks sake what are you on about, we should just accept £16m or whatever was being offered earlier in the window to save this "embarrassment" should we? Then Nicholas backing him up, fecking shambles they really do want any excuse to have a dig.

He is sticking up for us. Fair play to him. He said if we had revealed all our signing today, they would be impressive.

He's rather restrained if anything.
Sir Alex always got his signings in early? Berbatov? RVP?
Would never have lost out on Pedro for a few million?
Hazard?
Never been turned down like we have been with Otamendi.
God knows how many names I could quote here.
Lucas, Hazard, Robben, Bale, Ramsey, Shearer etc ( sadly again) etc..

This is newbie level of discussion, yet the difference is the newbies have scope for improvement hence promotions

Same i think the club should really defend themselves here.

United say they have proof that they sent the paperwork on time. If they have they should produce it to show Perez as the liar he is.

We could sign him today, but didn't want to risk being without Navas or DeGea, if negotiations with Keylor had broken down today.

They are still cnuts, should just go feck themselves with their statements every time something happens.

They had all the fecking window to do it. Leaving it until the last few hours is nobody's fault but their own.

They had all summer to sort it out. We might have dragged it out yesterday, but the blame all falls on Madrid.

When all's said and done the onus was on Real, not us: they wanted a player who we were reluctant to sell; it was up to them to get things sorted, ages ago.

Nah didn't you hear Holloway, WE should have sorted it ages ago. And because WE didn't, it is us who should be embarrassed.
