Madrid have pretty much directly blamed all the mess on United. Including saying they weren't negotiating before.
 
didn't they already acknowledge that we sent everything on time ? the spanish media said it as well.

Madrid fecked up and are now blaming utd so the fans don't scream for Perez's head.
 
I think we have bigger problems that than transfer sage of De Gea.

I, for one, don't care about what's happened. We get to keep De Gea and that makes our defense a bigger force than before.

I thought we could sign Navas today? How could that hold up the deal, the feckers didnt even try to appeal it today.
 
Woodwood should release a statement and just rip into Madrid. He would become my hero if he did this, this could be Drake vs Meek Mill all over again!
 
What the feck did I just watch on Sky.. Holloway saying we should be embarrassed and should have got it done weeks ago, what!? We're not buying him for fecks sake what are you on about, we should just accept £16m or whatever was being offered earlier in the window to save this "embarrassment" should we? Then Nicholas backing him up, fecking shambles they really do want any excuse to have a dig.

United say they have proof that they sent the paperwork on time. If they have they should produce it to show Perez as the liar he is.

We could sign him today, but didn't want to risk being without Navas or DeGea, if negotiations with Keylor had broken down today.

They had all the fecking window to do it. Leaving it until the last few hours is nobody's fault but their own.
 
They had all summer to sort it out. We might have dragged it out yesterday, but the blame all falls on Madrid.
 
When all's said and done the onus was on Real, not us: they wanted a player who we were reluctant to sell; it was up to them to get things sorted, ages ago.
