40m euros (29m pounds), that's a great price for de Gea in this situation.

If we bring a GK, I do hope for Cillessen as he looks great for a high line and like it or not, we play that way, or at least we are planing to do it.

If we sell now after a whole summer of standing firm the we will once again be nothing more than Madrid's bitches. Something big better happen before Tuesday otherwise there will be a lot of unhappy Manchester United fans.
It's not about keeping DeGea, he was !ways going. It's about extracting the highest price. That's why we have been stretching it out and delaying by asking about their players

IF the £29m story is true then take the money I say. We have shown we are not for messing with and we are in a much weaker negotiating position than Madrid so it just makes sense.

However, Romero is not good enough to be number 1. He hasn't done too much wrong but his reactions are not great (down very slowly for the Carrick own goal) and he's had a few dodgy moments on the ball.

I believe we'll have a replacement sorted if we do sell, no idea who though.

Also, Ballague said last night that Navas has refused to be part of a possible player plus cash deal for De Gea because he wants to stay in Spain.
Marca mentioned that early on in the summer. We'd be doing them a favour by taking Navas anyway.

Come on, that ball took 2 deflections. He's not at all at fault. It is question if we need a nr. 1 if DDG leaves though. Either we have a replacement lined up or LVG is happy with Romero or which still could happen all these stories about deal getting done are bs and David will stay.

Next summer we should have a United only Twitter thread. It is a bit annoying to come in here to check new posts only to see that York City have bought a new left back and so on.

I know. Also, where do Sheffield Wednesday get £10m from? Madness when mid-table Championship clubs are spending that much.
No wonder the clubs in that league are all in such a financial mess. The holy grail of promotion leads to them overspending to chase it.

Bristol City bidding £6m and now this. Where are they getting their money from? New investors? They've not seen the top division in (nearly?) two decades. If they're gambling on reaching the Prem and cash windfalls with 1 signing then they're risking falling like Leeds, City, Portsmouth and Wigan did.
