evans isn't our worst CB ?Don't get involved in a conversation you have no idea about, just makes you look silly.
You dont know this, btw Otamendi is right footed.
I don't, like you don't know it wouldn't be and yeah he is but the debate about LVG obsession in having opposite footed defenders in the team when other top teams seem to do okay with same footed defenders is for another time.
Again, don't get involved in conversations you know nothing about, that's twice I've had to say it. You're making yourself look silly.evans isn't our worst CB ?
Who is better ?
Might log off, if I stay any longer on here I'm worried I might drown in all these tears.

Its not an obsession, people talk like he is the only manager who ever thought of that. He isnt at all.
Evans is a confidence player who plays well on a run of games. Just because he has had a few high profile mistakes doesnt make him our worst CB. I personally wanted him to move on so he could get more games but I dont rate him our worst CB
Suspect you will get your wish.
If LVG had took over a few seasons early then would he have played Rio and Nemanja together seeing as both were right footed? For me it's just LVG overcomplicating things.
Seems a bit bizzare Mangala plays today, knowing he's off to a lesser club abroad on loan as bait in a deal to secure a player to take his place at City.
Yeah most likely, he means more to Northern Ireland at the minute than United that should be his priority getting more game time.
Well thats your problem, he is here for at least 2 seasons so deal with it.
I actually read the Managala thread and it was fairly balanced apart from doom sayer himself..Exact same conversation happened last year with Mangala. Otamendi, who may be good, has only had one good season in La Liga. LVG and his scouts who have been to watch him in person I am sure disagree with the transfer geniuses on redcafe.
So I'm not allowed to be concerned about it?
first city meet pedro's buyout clause, and dont sign him...and then loan a defender they paid millions for , who they are trusting enough to start against the champions...i call bs on all this....i think spanish media are using city's name to push their own agenda.... (of course now city will announce a double signing after this game)...but this is far too fishy
Doubt it - he'd probably have been sold by now if that was the case. The 2 or 3 games before the spitting incident he was first choice as Smalling's partner and looked to be finding his form again after a very disappointing few months. McNair and Blackett barely have 15 starts between them, for me they have a lot to do to show they're even near Evans' level.I suspect LVG rates Evans as our worst CB...

City sign Mangala.. we chase Vermaelen..
Swap Vermaelen for Blind really..but then posters aren't accountable when their high profile muppet targets don't work out.
Onto the next one, because the next one is always different
The club have been adamant all summer they were not in for Otamendi. Why are people surprised at this? Utd's name has been used in an attempt to get more cash from potential suitors. A bit like city coming up in the Pedro stories I suspect
I dont believe the Mangala thing..it just doesnt make any sense..and seeing as the whole Otamendi thing is based on that, you have to wonder if any of that is true..but we'll see in a few days ...You honestly don't think he's off to City?

Isnt half what. Bad?I see very little wrong with Mangala though, isn't half as many make out.

Not that I think there's a snowball's chance of it happening, but I would happily take any money we had earmarked for Otamendi or Ramos and splash (and any extra,) on getting Muller. He'd be a huge upgrade on Rooney, and given his versatility, could probably with Rooney as well. How is it interesting? Our interest has been known for quite some time. Just that there is no chance in hell we can land him.
Yup, if we were ever in for him, he'd have been signed and joined up with the squad in preseason. It was as straightforward a transfer as can be.The club have been adamant all summer they were not in for Otamendi. Why are people surprised at this? Maybe there have been no bids for him? I would be surprised if he is still here after the window closes. He barely got a kick on the tour, he's not in Van Gaal's plans.Doubt it - he'd probably have been sold by now if that was the case. What a cool way to defelct from the questionAgain, don't get involved in conversations you know nothing about, that's twice I've had to say it. You're making yourself look silly.
I agree tbf evans is very confidence based, however if he isn't good enough toget the games he needs what is the point ? Can see mcnair being before him in the pecking order just because lvg loves working with youth.Evans is a confidence player who plays well on a run of games. Just because he has had a few high profile mistakes doesnt make him our worst CB. I personally wanted him to move on so he could get more games but I dont rate him our worst CB
Of course mcnair has a way to go to reach the quality Evans can produce when at his best, but evans isn't at his best and hasn't been for a while.Doubt it - he'd probably have been sold by now if that was the case.
