The Dave affair rather badly handled by LVG and United. But who knows what goes on behind the scenes. I think there is a bit of coldness there, as in the case of a certain right back. Maybe its time for a little love and appreciation in the direction of our amazing goalkeeper.
You're right, who fancies getting the kickstarter going so we can all chip in for his flight to Madrid? Only if the Make a Wish Foundation don't hear about his personal horror story first, fund it all and let him meet John Cena of course.

Bang on.

this de gea stuff is sad to hear.

i really didn't think that one more year here would be a problem for him

looks like he is off to city or some mind games are still being played.

no cb is a risk, LVG has no excuses if the defence continues to struggle this year, hopefully it doesn't.
If he's a Mendes client, I'd rather we didn't sign him. I know that might sound naive, but I really don't see what benefit our supposed relationship with that cretin has had for United.

I don't think any club chooses not to buy mendes' clients. He has a lot of talents. Only Teams like Barcelona avoid it. Wenger has not bought too but that's because Wenger hasn't really spent a lot on players before Ozil and Sanchez.

@barcastuff: Talks on Pedro's exit have been put on hold. Player's entourage confident talks will resume after Super Cup. United still first option. [md]

oh ffs

"To solve their problematic left back spot"....

Who wants to tell them?

It's been reported that Baines is out for four months because he needs surgery on his ankle. Only have Galloway who is 19 and barely played as cover.

What De Gea wants or does is irrelevant. You can't sell a player for peanuts just because they throw a strop. What kind of message would that send? Even worse than just selling him on the cheap at the start of the window.

Why coddle a player who desperately wants to leave? Feck him.

Rooney wanted to leave at least twice, Ronaldo twice too before he eventually left. Cantons also.

Saf managed to man manage all of them till as long as he could. Even flying out to Rinaldo to convince for a extra year.

Lvg on the other hand seems to be like go if you wanna go, in fact is even is helping De Gea and Di maria find a way out. Which is fine but then he goes has a moan about not having players of that type only. Bit bizarre to me.

It'd be akin to Saf letting Rooney go during his first contract strop without replacement and then moaning how he didn't have replacement and how Welbeck was no henry.

So City have offered more than Barca want. In that case why has it not been accepted and why is Pedro not flying over? Tis obvious he wants United.

Also, does this indicate that De Bruyne has fallen through?

I want to know what "treatment" he's referring to? To my mind, LVG has been very understanding (maybe a little too understanding) about DDG's "grievances".
It would seem DDG does not agree with LVG's version of what has happened and feel like he has been hung out to dry.

Treatment is, Van Gaal being very honest in his opinion on how Dave is handling the having to stay issue.
Not sure why people are comparing LVD & SAF's man management. Fergie called out Rooney, shunted out Becks, Stam, Keane & RVN for carious reasons. Yet seem's he talked Ronaldo into another year is all anyone can remember.
I like Van Gaal's management style, fit in or feck off.

Going back to last season? LVG basically confirmed that when he first came the club he was unsure about DDG. It was claimed before but he said this but we all brushed it off as BS. Either way, it's hardly 'bad treatment' and unless Pedro and Dave were dating each other it would hardly be an issue.

Well our targets....according to the media.

Meh too much smoke for it be no fire. English media denying it only tells us that they are riding the club's agenda and report what they are briefed. Foreign media has been pretty spot on this season.

I hope we want Otamendi. The sudden rumours about us having interest in Stones/leaking that we dont want Otamendi makes me worrying. We need Otamendi more than Stones at this point in time. I pray everyday that we are the ones where he will end up.

The best info has come from the foreign press. Our media are completely out of the loop.

Me too and he's big enough to do it. Too many DDG fanboys here getting their curlers all heated about their boy being "mistreated" by the big bad Dutchman.

Lads - he doesn't want to be a United player anymore and would be pulling on a RM shirt this weekend if he could have his wish.
